Ryanair 2019

Shattered love at 33s 1/4 ew for the gold cup is huge too.

Won a fair bit on him today. Put it all back on for the Ryanair at 12s.

Good man. I have what I wanted on at 18s and 12s.
5/1 fav now in places, 9s with Unibet!

Hoping he gets his deserved success at the festival after chasing Altior home in the 2 races he has run there so far!
Min is proving to be very good indeed and it highlights just how good Altior is having smashed him up the two times they've meet.

Very true. Impossible to argue.

Yeah, I've got a free bet on at 25s but I'll take 33s e/w later on today (assume you've tested and cashout is available)?

Yes cashout is available for shattered love. She's very likely to go there anyway.

Min best price 9/1 (with unibet)
I think that's a very fair price on what we've just seen?

I don't have any doubt about him getting the trip, or being a bridle-merchant. He's had to battle back after getting the door slammed in his face, switched and swept past.

Ruby managed to get Un De Sceaux to stay the Ryanair trip, I don't see where the negatives are.

Some plodder that isn't good enough to win a Gold Cup isn't going to beat him :devilish:

Doubled up my bet on Charbel.

33/1 e/w

WIll cash out for a nice profit much closer to the time (as he can't possibly win, despite the Peterbrough changing it's name) :p :devilish:

That 2016 supreme worked out ok...
in a decent position with this, due to AP bets on Min and Charbel - cant complain today. Charbel would interest me in the gold cup, looks a totally different horse this year and the surgery to his back seems to have ironed out his jumping

Missed that race. Well done kev looks a good bet.

Min (evensfav) & Ruby Walsh take the feature

@punchestownrace

, the Grade 1 John Durkan Memorial Chase. Willie Mullins trains the winner & he said: "Ruby was maybe a bit bold there but he had to do what he had to do. He jumped brilliant & I was very pleased with that."

Thought Min settled much better today and if he can keep doing that he will be a force come March for sure. Thought Shattered Love was just done for a turn of foot, but still think the Ryanair is the ideal race for her myself.

What was going on with Min at 5:19 on the replay? Looks like Ruby was losing balance.

Went pretty slow gallop today by looks of it. Not sure exactly what that tells me though to be fair.

It tells you stamina wasn't tested like it will be in March :devilish:

Suited Min as he has a turn of foot. An end to end gallop in the Ryanair is what Shattered Love needs... just like the JLT last year.

Gordon just repeated that Shattered love being trained for the Gold Cup.

Yes I heard that archie. Sticking to my guns with the cash out option on the Ryanair though. I have a very small saver on her for the GC, but just cant see it being the best race

Ruby said 'wherever Altior goes we'll go the other way'.

Not sure if you seen this kev. But ..... another shout out for cash out later.

However, Charbel (13-8 favourite) was not for stopping and maintained his momentum to come home eight lengths clear of God’s Own. Tea For Two was four lengths back in third place.

“I was really impressed with him, just delighted. I’m sorry David Bass couldn’t ride him,” said Bailey.

“I’m thrilled. I’ve always wanted to win the Peterborough Chase and it’s great to have done it with him.

“No plans, but I think we’ll keep him to flat tracks now. I think he’s shown today that flat tracks suit him.”

Cheers, may cash out before he runs again then.

Bit of profit at the moment
