The reigning champion is a player in the race 12 months on regardless of what's gone before I'd suggest?

It's min that needs to show up and put in a performance more than BDF.

Also must be a positive for Shattered Love backers. If she wins at this trip it makes it easier to stay at this trip or 'revert' back when/if beaten over 3m
 
Min is surely a good thing on Sunday but not necessarily in March. Always goes well fresh and pretty consistent. Shattered Love might give him a race with her allowance but may not have the pace.

Depends whether he can stay well enough after showing that pace I suppose. I'm hopeful.

Min is miles better than balko des flos. As we saw at Aintree and we'll see on Sunday. Shattered love his only danger.

Are you saying you would back BDF in March even if he showed nothing all season?

No matter the outcome Sunday or later in the season. It's still nonsensical.
 
Like most horses BDF can put in some poor performances, but when he's good. he's as good as most, as his rating suggests.
He's actually a potentially very profitable horse as he's likely to always be underestimated in the market.
But he may also run like a twat all season.

If the price is right I would, yeah.

He'd need to be a decent price if he'd been poor all season but a lot of ifs and buts there lol
 
BDF has only run better than 160 twice in his life, both over further than 2m4f. Min's first 5 runs last season were all 165+. BDF will have his chance in March but he's up against it on Sunday.

Pretty sure they were all going 2 places when I looked at 6 day stage. As far as I know they don't have to offer normal place terms on antepost and so will in anticipation of a low turn out only offer 2 places.

That;s not Factual is it Archie. Can't be bothered looking at every race but dead heating with Simply Ned was not a 165 performance
 
Min is a 2m bridle merchant. He may well win on Sunday but I'll be against it in March.
