RSA Chase 2020

Any clues as to when we might see Champ?

I want him covered, but not in a rush, hoping a few more weeks yet.

I can't remember where I seen it but I'm sure Hendo said recently in a stable tour it would be a little while away when he's ready wouldn't surprise me if he starts at Newbury in the race santini ran in 1st time out last year end of November time

The Henderson battalion is usually unleashed in November so I'd expect a barrage of entries for his novices over the coming weeks. He likes Newbury so that could be a pointer for the one's towards the top of the pecking order.

It was on sporting life about a week ago he said something along the lines of he's doing well he's defiantly a 3miler hes schooled well etc but he's fair way of making the racecourse

Tattersalls Cheltenham tweeted pic of Carefully Selected looking well, says RSA main aim this season?

Sky bet have Champ at 40/1 to win Kauto Star and RSA if that's of interest CoD

If I were a Champ backed Id be quite pleased with that tbh. Thought he looked very natural over his fences. if only I could get bets on with Sky... the 40/1 on him winning the Kauto Star and the RSA would be a nice cover bet.

I backed that the other day as it goes

Champ was supposed to have a racecourse gallop after racing at Chepstow yesterday but Henderson didnt declare any runners. I guess he is going somewhere else for a gallop.

I thought Champ was at Chepstow for a gallop yesterday, someone posted a link with him doing some work with Champagne Platinum??
See post #200?? I thought that was Champ jumping a few fences at Chepstow

Very positive update on Allaho from the Irishracing article today

is a horse I am particularly looking forward to. He is a huge strong galloping horse that any jockey would love to sit on in a novice chase. The whole yard is looking forward to watching him go over fences.

Can't wait to see him go chasing. That Albert Bartlett has bundles of potential for novice chasers this season...

Where do people see allaho going rsa or jlt? From the talk sounds like he's gunna be a Stayer yet he's generally shorter for the jlt

Without doubt he wont go JLT in my opinion , a stayer deffo. He looked like a shell of a horse last term , so looking forward to seeing him walk round paddock and getting started. RSA more than likely and Willie really impressed with his schooling. Im on for this race and hope to see him place at a minimum to collect.

I’d be shocked if any horse staying on in a potato race dropped back to a JLT trip, I would imagine the choices are RSA or Nat Hunt Chase.
Worth also remembering that Allaho was a 5yo in that potato race, a race that has only yielded 2 5yo winners in its 15 year history....

Nice update regarding Allaho.

Very much taken a view that Minella Indo aaaand Allaho were two above average horses

Took the gamble that he's an RSA horse st 27s as el as the any race prices so house you're right ista, my thinking was and is similar re: target
