Worth noting in that race, Jigoro who is currently 13/8 fav with 365 was beaten by Jasko des dames who is a 6/1 shot with same firm when they met in France over 1m4 March this year.

Agree. Some wild prices being thrown about for Saturday and Sunday on a few. Either they've got it wrong or I have !!

Palio is 12/1 today and runs at Aintree in the 2.40 - doesn't seem well fancied but was 2nd to Burdett Road last time

90/1 the related double - not a great one but if Palio did win it'd look VERY strong for BR

Le Fauve in the same race beaten a nose by Anzadam who is the most recent Willie/Donnelly recruit related double 75/1 w/ cashout is one I think I'll chance.

I’d be nervous chancing anything at Aintree today. The novice chase looked as tough going as Clonmel on Thursday. Desperate stuff.

Prior to Mahon's Way running tomorrow. Bumper form double Mirazur West 8/1 Supreme Mahon's Way 33/1 AB 305/1. Might not look the worst by tomorrow evening.

Janidil tomorrow with Allaho for the ryanair would be an option depending on what price janidil is when edwardstone is pulled

Slade Steel Ballymore/ Lecky Watson for the AB is 441/1 but neither Coral or Ladbrokes will allow me to double them up

….just tried and it’s the same for me. Looks like no doubles for any selections in those races, might be a glitch.

Search For Glory (today) and Croke Park (AB) - 60/1

SFG being very well backed today. Beaten easily enough by Croke Park LTO.

Could also consider as SFG not to win and Mahons Way (AB) - 46-1 with 365.

I like that last line Exar. Savy

Cool Survivor tomorrow is fav - well beaten by

Gaelic Warrior last time

In the 14:00 tomorrow at Punchestown, Banntown Girl is the one Brighterdaysahead put away .... 3/1 tomrrow

A standout 23/1 double with Skybet ...

Trappy race tomorrow but definitely an angle!

Could also use Mel Monrose with Croke Park in the same race.

It’s probably already been mentioned but now Conflated has the entry it’s maybe a bit more ‘guarenteed’.

Down Royal Champion Chase Treble:

Conflated Cross C
Envoi Allen Ryanair
Gerri Colombe
302/1 with cashout (365)

Could also risk it another way with Minella Indo at 714/1 with PP, HDB said he’d be going over the banks and he’s also entered on Friday.

With Search For Glory upholding the Croke Park form at Cork on Sunday, I’ve chanced a double based off his Kilbeggan bumper 2nd to You Oughta Know, Joshua Des Flos hasn’t done much since but the 4th Toonagh Warrior has ran very respectably since moving to the UK.

You Oughta Know: Ballymore 25/1
Croke Park: Albert Bartlett 16/1

482/1 Paddy Power

Nice idea

No sign of entry for YOK ? Bit of worry

Lifted straight from The Giant Bolster's diary ....

186/1

Down Memory Lane (16/1) - Supreme
Firefox (10/1) - Ballymore

I expect them the other way around but the Christmas entries and ante post prices make this a really good cover bet IMO ... and I'd really fancy Firefox in the Ballymore regardless

I think most people are expecting Down Memory Lane to be Ballymore bound but the vibes seem strong and while he's 16s for the Supreme I think you'd be foolish not to have a small cover (if you're a Ballymore backer).
It's still so early in the piece...
