Have used the John Durkan before for related doubles after the race

Today might be another good chance

Gaelic Warrior & Facile Vega related double both ways looks a possibility now.
Both stand out novice chasers for Mullins on hurdle form and on debut over fences.
The rest have a lot to find from what we've seen.

Could easily both end up in same race, but Townend would probably not like it, and possibly not Willie either.

The bigger prices are for if Gaelic goes arkle obviously, but you could see this happen, if he beats either of the other top 2 in the market, or even if Marine beats Facile prior to March, so it could happen.

Ladbrokes look best prices, but no cash out.

I'd have to have Marine Nationale with Gaelic Warrior as well if I did the FV one

Like it though#

Can't really see me backing GW in a single for the Turners so this makes sense for me (as a BANC backer)

Got the option of doubling Colonel Mustard on Friday in the John Francombe, with Found A Fifty in the Drinmore. Currently pays 28/1 with Bet365. Could also do CM tomorrow and FAF for the Turners which is 188/1 with the same company.

As riccirich mentioned in the Stayers thread

If Dashel Drasher wins at 3.00 today, surely Marie's Rock goes back for the Mares Hurdle rather than Stayers?

84/1 for the related double

Makes some sense as a good cover bet, especially if you like Dashel Drasher for today

1741/1 for a Marie's Rock (Mares) / Dashel Drasher (Stayers) which is worth an each way consideration

Be loads of combinations available from that race today but this jumped out at me a bit

Firefox (supreme) 10/1 + ballyburn (ballymore) 7/1 = 87/1

Plus the bumper form which is looking very good
Firefox (supreme) 10/1 + ile atlantique (bally) 16/1 + stellar story 14/1 (Bartlett) = 2,804/1

Firefox (bally) 14/1 + ile atlantique (supreme) 25/1 + stellar (Bartlett) 14/1 = 5,849/1

Every chance two of those three in the trebles run in the same race but it's worth a go at those odds
These are the odds with paddy but a bit better might be available

You could throw in loughlynn for the AB too …beat Firefox 3/4 of a length at naas. 28 with Sky

Batman Girac today & Majborough triumph might interest some as a form related double.

Impaire Et Passe (Champion Hurdle)
Ashroe Diamond (Mares Hurdle)
Teahupoo (Stayers)

is 419/1 before they run today

Interesting to see what it is after the Hattons' Grace

Robcour Christmas Treble

179/1

Gerri Colombe - King George
Gentlemansgame - Savills
Irish Point - Christmas Hurdle

Teahupoo won't be running so 7/1 irish point probably wont last.

Now a best priced 310/1 :applouse:

I did check this Kev, I still don't think this is a bad bet and I'm tempted to throw a few points at it. When you look at what happened last year with the Hatton's form. Honeysuckle winning the Mares, Teahupoo arguably an unlucky 3rd.

I think this race is going to be a key piece to the puzzle this season. Ashroe Diamond's run in 3rd IMO was very encouraging, she was keen throughout most of the race but still stayed at it pretty well, to me she just looked fresh and with that run under her belt I see her improving. I'm quietly confident she beats all the mares this term including Lossie.

I don't think there's too many excuses for Buddy One and Zanahiyr, maybe a few sketchy jumps but nothing race ending, they probably ran to form. If the handicappers take that view, we are probably looking at career best performances from the front 3. Mid to high 160's for the first two and Ashroe running into the mid 150's

The other version of this is ff supreme, Ballyburn Bally and ile atlantique Albert. If Willie believes Ballyburn and ile atlantique are his best two mid trip plus horses. Owner and trainer obviously have previous in the AB

Milo lises running in the first at navan tomorrow, second to predators gold in their bumper at the end of last season. Could double him tomorrow with whatever race you fancy predators gold for if any.

Could do festival doubles too but there's no real clear target for either with predators gold looking a bally/Bartlett type and Milo probably a supreme/bally type so you'd probably have to do four separate double if going that route.

Worth noting in that race, Jigoro who is currently 13/8 fav with 365 was beaten by Jasko des dames who is a 6/1 shot with same firm when they met in France over 1m4 March this year.
