….be interesting to look back at this thread in a weeks time. If I remember rightly, I don’t think any nominated doubles went in last year :distrust:
I think if Minella Indo never gets any bigger than current prices then he's one I'm prepared to let go and will take on the chin if he does the business. I will however dabble in the related double with Allaho (Ryanair) who is another that I do like but is too short for me to really get involved in at this stage. Allaho/Minella Indo have continuously tied in closely together over their careers to date - their top novice hurdle form translated to the top of the novice chase division and if they can continue that into open company then they are both destined to take high rank.
Yeah like that a lot VF.
I love it actually.
Both 10/1 with 365
Which is 120/1
1 pt e/w
I like Allaho for the Ryanair already and if he won the Ryanair I would be very much thinking it was a boost for Minella Indo's chances.
Good work.
2023 Super Double
Constitution Hill and Shishkin
Hendo Double.
1.39/1
:loyal:
The 2022 Solerina double is the one I'm pinning my hopes on this year.
Brandy and Allegorie:greedy_dollars:
This the space hopper double Kev?
Like the idea. Would Run For Oscar count? Got his 147 rating over here, ran in Ireland again since, but runs off his British Mark (147) in the Coral Cup.
Think there’s a good few isn’t there off the top of my head? Dads lad, mr incredible, Salvador ziggy, filey bay, colonel mustard, probably more.
Loved the angle I listened to from Gary O'Brien about Irish horses handicapped over here already, so have been assessed relative to the UK horses, whereas the other Irish have run against other Irish then had a tax added...... Shoot First and Stumptown hit this theory and it's made me really, really fancy them.
Doubled them up e/w at 26.5/1 whilst doing this. I think it's a very interesting angle and I totally see the logic.
- Who else fits the bill, can we find ourselves an Irish handicapper multiple where they're technically not taxed in the same way?
