Mullins today from Sporting Life,

"Fact To File was probably the performance of the week. He is spectacular in his ability to jump and attack fences on the racetrack in the way that he did. He has the ability to go back in trip but I still think he is a Gold Cup horse. But when a horse can do what he did in the Ryanair, that's nice to have in your armoury going into next year's Cheltenham."

Sounds like options open and I doubt there'll ever be fully closed.

Classic mullins, he's narrowed it down to champion chase, Ryanair or gold cup !

….looks like I’m putting up the first one of the new season, both popular on here so had a little interest in this related double;

Mydaddypaddy (Sup)/Derryhassen Paddy (BANC)

675-1 365.

With Willie indicating in his SL stale tour that Fact to File may go GC and that Majborough may go Ryanair, then maybe a related double the two @ 12/1 & 7/1 Hills ? - double pays 103-1

Also Fact to File GC and Impaire Et Passé Ryanair as a cover? - double pays 167-1

Worth maybe doing some perm doubles (12 bets) and a perm treble (8 bets) with the following, as I believe that there is a good chance they are linked to where each other is going;

Kargese Arkle 25/1
Kargese Champ Hurdle 33/1
X
Jade De Grugy Mares Hurdle 4/1
Jade De Grugy Mares Chase 16/1
X
Lossiemouth Mares Hurdle 9/4
Lossiemouth Champ Hurdle 5/1

Donnelly cross doubles.

Lulamba (Arkle)
Salvator Mundi (Arkle)
x
State Man (Champion Hurdle)
Anzadam (Champion Hurdle)

I imagine Salvator Mundi will be no. 2 to Kopek, but it takes a stone bruise and he'll probably end up Willie's no. 1 in the race.

I did mention he was well overpriced before his Aintree run, when Betfair/PP pushed him out to 50's for the Arkle, so it's nice to see him back into 14's best price and the stable tour was pretty encouraging. Lets hope he takes to fences now.

Lulamba more likely to stay hurdling COD ? Hendo said not made mind up yet and he's entered in big French hurdle at the end of November.

I would not say more likely, personally.

Henderson has given indication that Lulamba has 'grown' and looks like a chaser. The only reason he may hold him back from chasing is his age, but it didn't stop him with Sir Gino.

Personally I'd have it at least 80/20 that he goes chasing, currently.

Suppose you also have to factor in they have State Man and now Anzadam being aimed at the Churdle. Chasing does make more sense.

Yes, I'm in a similar camp but I've just done the Kargese Arkle & Jade De Grugy Mares Chase double at 25-1 & 16-1 = 441-1 so far. The 16-1 JDG looks a standout imo now that Willie has been quoted as saying:

"I’d like to go chasing with her. I will need to decide and talk with connections about what they want to do.".

So no commitment to chasing yet but enough to encourage me at least! :)

Thankfully I followed you in with the Kargese Arkle 25/1 and Jade Mares Chase 16/1 as Jade has now been cut to 8/1 👍

That would mean Willie has 3 big bullets for the Mares Chase with Dinoblue, Spindleberry and Jade. Do you think he'd run all 3? It'll leave him with just Lossie in the Mares.

Ran 2 in it this year, 3 in it the year before, so yeah, running all 3 would be of no concern.

I mean he would still have lossie and kargese as two big options for the mares hurdle. Not to mention the likes of murcia, aurora vega, karoline banbou etc who all had they're moments last season, would be no surprise If one of them has improved a lot over the summer to get into the mix.

Maughreen as well potentially RR.

Kargese will surely stick to 2m . She'd be running on fumes up the Hill in a Mares Hurdle.
