What price do you think those three all end up taking in those targets ?

Wodhooh 5/2 Fav (No Lossiemouth, No Brighterdaysahead, No Jade de Grugy)
Lossiemouth 5/2 2nd Fav
Spindleberry 5/1 (Behind Dinoblue and Brighterdaysahead in betting)

Am I thinking straight ? Help !

I meant what price that they all actually turn up in the races you say.
Wodhooh looks a Stayers horse to me and all the time the 7lb allowance exists she'd go there with a serious chance, I think she could win a Mares Hurdle but 20f on the Old Course won't play to her strengths, she looks made for 24f on the New Course to me...

I hear you but my senses tell me Gordon ain't falling for that 7lb allowance "trick" again. She is owned by friends of Gordon and he will want them to have the joy of a first Festival winner and she is only 5 years old, six next year. Mares Hurdle winner 2026 and Stayers 2027. I really like her for the Mares Hurdle next March. Have I convinced you ?

As an aside what do you think of my price predictions for 2026 races ? Would I lose my shirt as a bookie ?

Just done a little jp yankee for not too much money. The new lion (ch) majborough (ark) f2f (Ryanair) iknowthewayirthinkin (gc) @ 1175/1.

She just won at the festival mate :boxing::glee:

Ah. Good spot. Slight oversight. Should have read "She is owned by friends of Gordon and he will want them to have the joy of a first Festival G1 winner and she is only 5 years old, six next year.":angel::angel:

I've backed her for the Mares in various multiples but can see the case for her turning into a stayers horse too (have 1pt win at 33s). Gordon usually favours the easier option, which would probably be the stayers if Lossie turned up!:biggrin-new:

Might as well add The New Lion too as there's no doubt around his target. 5669/1 for the 4fold.:chuncky:

…not Festival but I like a little multiple on the 3 Aintree races over the National fences;

Annamix 16-1 Foxhunters (25s with PP)
Spanish Harlem 25-1 Topham
Senior Chief 50-1 GN

Prices are 365, a little e/w Trixie and the treble is over 22,000-1

Do you go on the Thursday? I'll be there if you want to have a pint and celebrate the 3 points gained at Anfield from the night before!:devilish::very_drunk:

….i love the Thursday and did 25 years on the spin in Queen Mother but none since Covid so I treat my son and his wife with tickets each year to keep the tradition going. Bit of a Cup Final for the Reds in the Derby, hope they perform as they did at Wembley :biggrin-new:, pity it’s a season where City and Arsenal just aren’t competitive.

What an absolute travesty JB isn’t in the full-England squad, just ridiculous. I introduced my 3yo grandson to Goodison yesterday on the stadium tour, I first went in very early 60s, not long to go now.

Think I'm there for the last ever game. Can't wait.

I understand the city rivalry thing eggs but would you not have anytime at all for Liverpool considering the time you spent playing for them? Liverpool fan myself from across the water and just wondering what the state of the rivalry is now IE friendly/acrimonious :eagerness:

…I’ve always appreciated the club and more specifically the players but although they play in the City they’ve lost a lot of their local identity. I knew the old Boot Room ethic but the club is such a global operation and media darlings now that the majority of locals I know who used to go don’t bother anymore.

Don’t get me wrong, I still like watching talents like Salah but I think the club has lost much of its tradition, maybe something to do with PL model.

Yes I suppose it's more of a money game now rather than a football game :upset:

Surprised you've got Fact To File coming back in trip

Winning the Ryanair again, or trying the Gold Cup are much more likely IMO

Majborough the one that'll start at 2m, unless beaten he'd stay at that trip ... and then why shoe-horn Fact To File in for him?

Wouldn't happen IMO

There's no 2m4f at Punchestown so it'll either be 3 miles or 2 miles for FTF at that festival

If he smashes them up over 2 miles then the Champion Chase will probably be in the picture.

He probably goes 3m though and we can all move on.

Yes probably but what a great opportunity to trial the theory out. Hopefully they do.

Nicky is still saying that Jonbon was beaten because he was frit by the starting tape. He will really want to go back for the QM next year.

All down to Frank Berry but, for me, it's long odds on that Fact To File will start next season in the Durkan wherever he runs at Punchestown. No point in taking a position until then. Punchestown probably depends on where Galopin and Ino go but, in any case, will only be an afterthought. If Willie wins the National there might even be another late challenge for the UK trainer's title with all destination races for review.

Lunacy to be taking a strong view at this time to my way of thinking but, hey, your money your decision.
