Related Bets (ideas)

Am thinking a decent related double could be Galopin Des Champs in the Savills Chase on 28/12 and Fact To File Ryanair. The old warrior puts the new pretender to bed in the Savills over 3 miles and Willie tells JP lets go win both Gold Cup and Ryanair in 2025 and take Fact To File to win the Gold Cup in 2026.

Yep, this is how I see it playing out, albeit won't be doing the roll up as have FTF covered plenty for the Ryanair already.

Feels like Willie is planting the seeds for this:

“I thought that trip might suit him better, he'd be sharp enough for that trip. We didn't know, we just went there,” Mullins told journalist Dave Keena.
“Nothing that Fact To File does would surprise me, he has everything going for him.
“He could probably win shorter races than Galopin Des Champs.
“He's going to have to take on Galopin Des Champs over a trip and that's going to be a different ball game. He's going to have to get past him.
“Galopin Des Champs is a man and Fact To File will have to improve, I think, to get past him over the Gold Cup trips.”

Although I'm heavily invested in Gaelic for the Ryanair as many on here might be aware, I covered the Gaelic (CC), Fact To File (Ryanair), Galopin (Gold Cup) treble to really good cover a little while back so I'd be happy if it did play out that way!

With both being entered for the Xmas Hurdle and the match up looking very likely, the Constitution Hill CH and Lossiemouth MH surely has to be done. Best Odds 20/1

Elliott will be pissed if Lossiemouth ends up in the MH. Would be a good race between them though (BDA not Elliott)

Latest Road To Cheltenham. He thinks constitution Hill will smash her to bits.

Ah right. I didn’t come away with that impression but I was watching at some unearthly hour so will watch again.

Yeah, she was trying to stick up for Lossiemouth but he was having none of it .

….a few favourable mentions, so having a dart at a Mullins Nov Hrd double before they run this week;

Redemption Day Sup/ Kopek (Turn) 356-1 365 (Dutched them for a bit of insurance 545-1).

Like many others, I think Constitution Hill is either back and wins as he likes, or isn’t and is pulled up. Lossie will run 155-160.

And in the former scenario, why would Willie waste a bullet at the Championship Hurdle when it needs a good one to beat BDA?

So I’ve taken the related double:

Constitution Hill to win the Christmas Hurdle by 3 lengths or more (11/4) and Lossiemouth to win the Mares Hurdle (11/2). The double pats 23.38/1 with Skybet.

My thoughts are that PT has travelled over specifically to ride just twice horses over two days missing multiple winning chances at Leopardstown and Limerick over both those days.

That for me says everything.

All that says he wants to ride those two or needs to ride those two!!
It has no bearing on how CH and SG perform, which to me determines both races.

The final nail in by SkyBet coffin apparently.
