Queen Mother Champion Chase 2020

Patrick sounded very confident of UDS turning the tables on Defi next week. Wants to ride him in the champion chase
Can see why given Defi only beat him a neck and all of Mullins’ have come on significantly for their first run. Defi already with a run under his belt that day too

Dynamite Dollars 33/1 NRNB with Skybet. That is a seriously good price. If he beats Altior in Game Spirit or even runs him pretty close he'll be down to a single figure price.

Has there been word why it's taken so long for him to make the track? Not sure he's good enough personally, and a massive question mark now returning off a layoff, but nice price NRNB!

For all that he gets praised as a little warrior etc - DDS a bit of a rogue imo. Needs produced late and keeps a bit for himself.

Picked up an injury prior to Arkle last year. Now back in full training. Will run in Game Spirit at Newbury early Feb then straight to CC.

Altior doesnt run Saturday Henderson says.

He said: “We’ll keep everything up our sleeve option-wise, but I think he will run in the Game Spirit whatever happens"

Waiting Patiently is entered for the Dublin 2ml chase on Sat 1st Feb. I thought he was out for the season. Has anybody heard any news?

Would have been entered before hand. Unfortunately OFTS.

I just presumed the entries were made today but maybe just published today. The story broke last Thursday 9th Jan

Entries were made for noon on Wednesday the 8th.

Heavy ground at Ascot. Think UDS will go off fav now. Hoping he beats Defi so that Hobbs runs Defi in Ryanair!

William Hill going 7/4 at one stage on UDS this morning. I’ve steamed in accordingly. Think he wins. Hobbs in a real conundrum with Defi if he does get beat.

Do the double.

If Un De Sceaux does beat Defi tomorrow, I'd think it'd cement him to the Ryanair

Max bet Defi tomorrow, especially if evens pops up.

Not sure beating UDS would convince Hobbs of anything (it certainly shouldn't) , but getting beat certainly would.

I'll do the Kev double if UDS drifts to 5/2 or bigger

You think UDS will drift on that ground? I'd be surprised personally.

No I don't, but he's too short vs Defi at the moment.
I'd expect Defi to be heavily backed by serious punters tomorrow though, before the off. So you never know.
Could be wrong though as UDS is a loved horse.

I can see a plunge on UDS personally if the camp are as confident as Paddy made out earlier in the week on reversing the form. He can’t drift in this ground.
