He is not as flashy those above but I don't remember a horse relish the hill as much as he does.

Personally, I'd have him above Sizing Europe and probably Azertyuiop.

Altior well above SE in my view. F Rainbow beat SE ffs. Big Zeb also in or about SE level imo.
 
I feel like Altior could have produced a bigger number (OR) than he did if there were better horses around but while that isn't his fault it does mean we just don't really know how top, his top form was.

I'd have loved to see him charging up the hill behind any of those other legendary two milers mentioned.



Sprinter Sacre is the best and most exciting chaser I've seen (which only really goes back to Masterminded) - to win it as impressivly as he did, then miss the next festival, PU in the one after that then come back to put the mighty Un De Sceaux away continues to look absolutely extraordinary.




Love this division though, so much better than any hurdles race :p

That is something nobody can answer with certainty Humble.

He's being campaigned like it, but they know he stays further. Le Richbourg is still to return, who knows the level of open company form he can produce. If it's good enough they might try splitting them.
