Its not too late to get on the Sceau Royal train looks like getting his ground or the best hes had in a while!!
I'm sure there'll still be excuses if he's beat
absolutely first run of the season, arguably better going left handed, ground a little bit soft..... lol
But when he wins despite all that!! ;-)
I'm sure there'll still be excuses if he's beat
He shoudnt be beating a race fit defi de seuil, 1st time up, he should travel well and get done by defi going away.
But will defi be in the qmcc itself. Who knows?
I can actually see him going close at the weekend, so not interest in pre-race excuses.
I also don't think Defi is best over 2m, so don't see why he'd end up in this race, I know a few hope/fancy him for it, which is fair enough, it's all opinions.
It's a tingle creek 1st time up, hardly an excuse. Its the reality of a proper race.
TBF his record fresh after 100+ days off the track is very good, which is why I think he'll go well also.
Won a Grade 2 among them.
I expect him to go well too, but I can plainly see that your setting him up to knock him when he dosent win a very competitive grade1 tingle creek on seasonal debut.
When in all reality hes a solid ew bet @ 20s in the qmcc
I won't knock him anymore than I already have done based on the weekends performance, you have my word.
I had made the same case about him in previous seasons, and like I said, he just doesn't do it for me. Can't knock the 20's E/W, he's got a fair place chance, but he usually finds one too good for me.
I'd probably prefer (and probably will) back him for the weekend.
Do you not think they'll step him up at some point? I see he was given an entry in the Peterborough Chase!
Been quoted 22/1 for Sceau Royal to win the Tingle creek and QM m.skybet.com/horse-racing/requestabet/event/24637227
i really like him as well, the way he jumped in the schloer last season was immaculate, hopefully he gets his ground in march
22/1?
6/1 for Saturday.
16/1 for Queen Mother.
what am i missing about this? Worst price in history
yeah, i thought it was tight enough myself, would shorten significantly if he wins well though i suppose
Given his previous form + the likely contenders, what price might he go, 10/1 ? Please don't back that double.
i havent, and told them it was tight! :highly_amused:
yeah, i thought it was tight enough myself, would shorten significantly if he wins well though i suppose
But he won't be shorter than 9/4 surely.
Altior and Chacum will still head the market regardless of the Tingle Creek result, that 22/1 double is as horrific as prices come, if you like the horse back him for the Tingle Creek and go in again for the Champion Chase if he wins Saturday...
