I wonder what if anything was learned from Punchestown for Cheltenham. Overall the festival was seemingly a great commercial success. Lessons for Cheltenham? For me Fibal Demand and Marine Nationale were ones I will be supporting for BANC & Champions Chase. I was hoping to take away a prospective novice hurdler from the Bumpers but was left confused. Would be interested in other views.

The main takeaways for me would be
Final demand wins the BANC if he stays sound
Sadly Con Hill has gone
Ballyburn can be put in the ballybin
Jasmin de vaux has a huge engine but still can't jump and doesn't really seem to be getting any better. He won't win the stayers hurdle jumping like that.
You can set your watch on teahupoo running to mid to low 160s regardless of ground. Just a question of whether theres anything better.
Galopin could still add a third gold cup. The Novices are all rubbish. He has Inothewayurthinkin and Gaelic warrior to beat. who knows how Inothewayurthinkin will recover from that monster run. Winning the gold cup has bottomed plenty of horses, most recently minella indo and a plus tard.
