….i might listen to the PP one at 19.30 tonight and post some of their thoughts (Ruby Walsh, Lydia Hislop, Tony Mullins & Johnny Dineen). ATR have theirs at 21.00 but I’d struggle to sit through that for a few hours (Chapman, Mick Fitz, Davy Russell & Tony Ennis).
If you (or anyone) can put a link up here for both I'd be grateful....
The Paddy Power one has been quite funny for seeing Tony Mullins seeing the market for each race for the first time on his phone in front of him
….Paddy Power Preview Evening; Ruby Walsh; Lydia Hislop; Tony Mullins; Johnny Dineen.
Day 1 Naps; Beyond Your Dreams (RW); Gericault Roque (LH); Changing Man (JD); Majborough (TM)
Day 2 Naps; Copacabana (RW); Be Aware (LH); Marine National (JD); Dancing City (TM)
Day 3 Naps; Jungle Boogie e/w (RW); Galileo Dame (LH); AworkinProgress (JD); Protektorat (TM)
Day 4 Naps; Angels Dawn (RW); EID (LH); Dinoblue (JD); EID (TM)
Not the worst preview, glad there seems to be a trend to covering every race.
For years these panels have spent half an hour on how good Jonbon or Galopin Des Champs is, we learn nothing from that, the 124 rated plot in the Fred Winter on the other hand...
Did Tony pick anything other than what was fav :biggrin-new: shows his lack of preparation. Even in the handicaps, think JP is winning at least half the races too :biggrin-new:
Tony Mullins disgraced himself last night, that was embarrassing to watch as a keen race fan. Every time he opened his mouth I cringed, from picking horses not going for races which is known publicly to saying what the previous panelist said when asked for his input. Really really poor stuff.
Tony Mullins is only in there for the 'entertainment' value and that value is extremely limited for anyone with a modicum of intellect.
