Didnt actually think for a second hed actually win

Just £4.50 on but thats plenty for me at 40.0
 
Looked at the trends last night, 8 or younger, rated 138+, between 6 and 10 hurdle runs.

Only left Monmiral and Cuthbert Dibble. And I convinced myself out of both of them :beaten:

Worked out for Good Time Jonny last year too.

since 2018 the biggest difference from the qualifying rating is +5lb but in the years that have been a + its been an irish winnner qualifying on an irish rating.

call the cops was carrying a 5lb penalty for a win on Feb 28th, so actually carried +6lb from his qualifying rating

2014 fingal Bay won carrying 6lb more than his qualifying rating.

so 4 years in a row it was at least +6lb(2014-2017)
now it's 7 years in a row it's been less than +5lb(2018-2024) and in most cases the + would mostly be irish tax.

It doesn't leave that many!!

I think top weight carries 12 stone in this IIRC so a 28 pound weight range. If The Wallpark comes here, and is rated 152, then the winners of the qualifiers need to be rated 124 to get in. Only American Sniper looks like he would be too low to get in in a normal year and the guarantee helps him.

Edit: bottom weight is 10st2, not 10st so 26 pound range. So if The Wallpark runs, need to be rated 126+ as a winner to be guaranteed to get in. American Sniper wouldn't be in the handicap under those circumstances so not guaranteed a run.

I quite like the Sniper for this, Pipe has mentioned wanting to get anotherrun into him before decs as feels he needs to go up 4 or 5 to not be running out of the handicap.

Can't believe you guys with these Handicap rules. Worse than watching an EastEnders episode. How can you possibly back anything whilst not being absolutely sure of the conditions?? Crazy that it's so hard to get any real clarification.
