National Hunt Challenge Cup Amateur Riders' Novices' Chase

Jennings has mentioned it more than once, as Patrick's ride.
And the lucky lad Oli Bell has done the same.
Ruby's since started trotting it out.

Yeah, they've good amounts of followers i'm sure + neither are great tipsters. As we've seen with Bapaume today, any media folk sticking a horse up can move it 8pts quite easily, and fast in these antepost markets. I'd be surprised if much of this move is "informed"

I'd agree.
Educated guessing maybe.
although they mix in better circles than we do so maybe a bit more informed.

Patrick just been on RUK saying Faugheen most likely will run over 2m 4f at dublin so unlikely to be qualified for NH Chase

i missed most of it. Did he mention anything for Salsaretta?

Did he say he's unlikely to qualify for the NH Chase

Or did he say the first bit?

Both are the same outcome but if he's specifically said he's unlikely to qualify it means they thought about it and decided against it and the decision is likely to have been made?

I hope that makes sense :encouragement:

Think we can all wave goodbye to any NHC bets. He'll go JLT or RSA depending on ground. Too good for 3.6 miler.

Adds further weight to Carefully Selected being his horse for this race.

He said both Kev. Faugheen most likely to run over 2m 4f at the dublin festival so unlikely to qualify for NH chase but could run in the RSA.

Ok brill, thanks billy.

He'd be an even worse Ok Corral from last year. Too keen.

Yeah I don't think he's got much chance at all of running here. A drop back more likely than step up for Allaho

Hovering over cashing out Faugheen for a small gain here

They might cotton on that he can't run when next declared.

We don't want value non runners on this site :applause:

Highest Sun running at Warwick tomorrow, any interest in coming here?

Horse has ability , needs to settle

After Tizzard “ dithering “ on this race last year and not having a top amateur lined up is a concerm

For those adamant CS goes here, he's declared over 2m4 on sunday.

That makes it pretty clear to me that he won't be going 3.6 miler. They'd have found a qualifying race for him to run in FIRST if he was going NHC. Get on the Classic train !

Patrick quite clearly said the horse needs two more runs ideally as he thinks the NH chase is a rough race like a handicap.
He pretty much said a run tomorrow then the Ten up Novices chase next.

Obviously it's a risky way of doing it, in case of mishaps. But they quite clearly have it in mind.

That's quite clearly as opposed to pretty clear.
