Mullins stable tour

Only thing is, Envoi may well beat him in the JD and head to the KG as Cheveley Park representative instead of Allaho as he's entered for Kempton as well. I can definitely see that happening.

I see nothing stopping Envoi (Henry), Allaho (Willie), Asterion (Willie) and Minella (Henry) all going to Kempton. With A Plus Tard (Previous Winner and prefers left handed) leading the CPS/HDB team in the Savils with ABP for Willie.

Is it not enough for them plundering all the festival races?! :biggrin-new:

Haha they'd best make the most of it now while they are on top. The Irish should be coming over for every G1 over this side of the Irish sea currently

I don't see Henry or Willie bringing more than 1 over for the race. All will be revealed .

Would make the claims for Clan des Obeaux at 5-1 being one of the bets of the year a little bit wobbly.

I agree with all those being the right types to run in the KIng George, but Willie finds a reason not to, more often than not.
And 4 leading jockeys coming over here vs staying in Leopardstown with more rides is a tough ask.
Which is probably the main reason why it might not happen.
Hopefully it does ans we get one or two on the xmas hurdle as well.

Would definitely make sense for Willie to send two with ABP and TBG representing him and the Donnelly's in the Savils and AF (Who prefers to go right handed) in the KG.

Allaho doesn't have many options over the middle trips in Ireland and they are tempted to experiment with an easy 3m (plus CP have APT for the Savils).

HBD may keep them apart and it does depend what he does with Envoi. If he keeps him at the shorter side of 2.5m then all he has to do is split MI and APT up between the two.

The Irish should be making the most of the current situation and raiding every G1/G2 in Britain

Yeah not saying it will happen I just think they should go for it. The Irish dominance atm could win ever G1 this side of the sea

asterion will be over for the King George with cooper on his back. Just my thoughts, but would make sense imo.

I think Willie may send a couple more over than the last couple of years.

With Gordon losing the CPS horses the trainers title becomes a bit easier on home soil. That would open up a few more forays to these shores, maybe not quite to the same level as the year he nearly won out trainers title but somewhere inbetween would only be a positive

I do hope you are right. I have very few bets outside of the Fez and race meetings I go to but just had to have a few quid on him for the KG as he has the perfect game for that race, absolutely perfect. If Mullins hadn't entered him I'd think he was more loopy than he is, but he has so I just hope he follows it through. He'd have a top, top chance around Kempton.

TBG's won a chase, i think he'll have a few things to do before running there.

There's some juggling to do no doubt about it!

A bit of blue across a few of the Mullins runners today… notably Kilcruit and Echoes in Rain. Anything further mentioned?

Sure someone said theres a new RP ante post tipster who has put up EIR ?

Also a fair bit of blue for Ferny for the Marsh - I'm guessing people just latching on to the stamina quote on the end of that sporting life clip coupled with the fact Mullins' repetitively stated Appreciate It for the Arkle.

Only 16s left with PP w/ cashout, general 12s.

Someone posted it earlier in the worst format ever seen on the forum. Especially for those reading it on a mobile phone.:moody:

Yeah, was a right treat reading that on my phone !

I think Mullins knows Ferney can't touch Appreciate It over 2 miles over fences after his Supreme demolition job. Off to the Marsh you go to be beat by the Champagne boy.

Slightly off topic but I remember Henry being really keen on bringing Monalee over for last year's King George before he was injured. According to Henry, he's back and looking good so could be on the boat with Envoi?? Whether he is still good enough or was ever good enough to win one is up for debate.
