May ‘24 Yankee

Probably Yes Odin , but i guess what i was thinking / meaning was El Fab flopped at the Festival and Gaelic tore it up .
So thinking Gaelic must have as good a chance in the Queen mother ..

Yeah I can see this argument to be fair. I'm convinced that Gaelic and El Fab will be split come the festival (if they both make it) and in that scenario, Gaelic is categorically better suited to the Ryanair for me as he could probably put in an Allaho-esque performance. El Fab's sticky jumping will catch him out in the Ryanair with the fences at the top of the hill, I'm not as convinced it would in the QMCC. That said, if Gaelic goes QMCC he should be favourite so I can definitely see the value in getting him in a yankee given people generally don't want to target the Ryanair :encouragement:

….just giving this a bump, looks like Dancing City could be in.

Grabs MOM by the ears and drags him in to pick the Yankee :highly_amused:

….hopefully MoM pops in, he’s often a night owl but regardless we’ll look to have selections up in the next 24 hours.

….no sign of MOM, so I’ll have a read through and post selections in the next hour.

….so, I’ve had a read through.

MoM said he likes Dancing City (BANC) and he’s popular with others, so he makes it in. We can also capture Constitution Hill and Fact to File who have both had plenty of nominations. The final one is a bit left field but mentioned early in the thread, Dysart Enos (Mares Hurdle).

Golden Ace gave the UK form a boost winning the MNH against some highly rated opponents, a race DE missed because of a set-back but she did beat GA 9L in the Aintree Mares bumper and is unbeaten over hurdles. She withdrew at Aintree because of the ground (as did Golden Ace), it’s difficult to see her heading anywhere but the MH on the opening day and could be what I think would be her trainers first Festival winner. 14-1 looks decent.
