Martin Pipe Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle

Looks like a decent move from PP & Betfair for.
Front View in this.
into 10's and 8's already, and on exchange.

Really hoping he comes here Q
Flagged him up a while back at 20s
A few days later Jennings put him up on “up your auntie”
Price collapsed soon after
Decent run today
Joseph’s horses not fully firing at present

Sempo of JOB not entered so Front View is his first choice for this. I reckon he will go up 4 or 5lb for todays run to give an Irish OR of 138/139 and should get in. 5 o'clock will probably be 144/145 and won't get in. I don't understand what they were trying to achieve today by running Front View today instead of going straight to Cheltenham

If I'm not mistaken, I believe Front View had to get a run in to be eligible for the Martin Pipe. I may be mistaken however....

You are correct.
Obviously he ran today.

Mullins post race seemed to say they may keep Five O’Clock at home and find races over there than take him to Cheltenham. I know plans can change and will be nrnb so no harm if people have backed and doesn’t show.

Usual 3m chaser in the making as well to add to that.

I'd be surprised if he went up that much tbh.

I got Pileon put in and have now backed him NRNB. A little bigger was available elsewhere.

We know he is on the 'Team'.

Does anyone know whether the preference is this race - far more obvious considering the lack of experience and advantage of Jones - or the Coral Cup? The latter is a race they have stuck a novice in before. Hobbs strikes me as one of those trainers who will offer the public nothing unless he is asked the question.

I like Pileon, and not backed yet, as didn;t think price would move a lot between now and then. But the jockey Jones, if available to ride this for this race would be a big plus.
Think I'll back it now as it might get talked about a bit more in next week or two.
The form and rating are v good.

If he goes here with Jones on board he could off single figures.

It’s getting to point where I like everything in this race and want to back it! It’s now the last race of the festival. I’ll be shattered after 4 full days boozing.

On top of Column of Fire, Conflated, and Flash The Steel, I also really like Flic Ou Voyou for this. Thought he’d go County but only entry is here. Form early in the season makes me think he’s at least 7lbs well in. Best Harry Senior. Within a few lengths of Fiddler and Edwardstone and still off 128?! Madness.

I really hope so can enjoy this race regardless the race and not be piling on to break even this year :highly_amused:

Might have a nibble on our Power. See my sea of blue thread and there has been some nibbles. Noticed 16/1 365 and 100/1 elsewhere ? Am i missing something. Will it get in?

Tough for Column of Fire now FFS

Why do you say that FTM ?
He'll be competing in G1 races next year according to Elliott, 143 guarantees he's in and the bottom weight will probably be 139/140, not sure why you'd see 143 as negative...

Let's hope for a good run

COF up 7 pounds. Conflated given a lower UK mark

COF always going to be anywhere from 141-3 IMO don't get the fuss at all couple pounds in hcap if your potentially graded class(what seem to be needed these days) shouldn't matter. Front view on 139 looking very appealing too.
