Marsh Novices Chase 2020 (was JLT)

Really looking forward to the 2:25 @ Carlisle today... some really interesting runners and has my Cheltenham juices flowing!

Whilst it's over 2m, I've posted on JLT thread as I see Brewin, Midnight Shadow and Good Boy Bobby more likely to race over further as the season progresses.
Regardless of the result, it will be interesting to see how they jump a fence and it should be an informative Beginners Chase.

Great Nov Chaser Leman
What jumps best ?
Preference is for Global Citizen but certainly an informative early season race

I’ve had a decent bet on Brewinupastorm

Same here MOM.

Also done his one in the first race, that I really like the look of.

Cracking finish to that race.

Brewin needs further, Midnight Shadow needs a lot further and Global Citizen is probably not going to win a Grade 1.

Good Boy Bobby ran a cracker, though had his own way up front!

Cracking day for me with the Murphy pair in a double plus the single wins, more festival bets coming in soon!

Great run from the back for Brewinupastorm. Can only improve according to trainer after wind-op, then Cheltenham a November meeting 2M if soft ground or 2M4F if soft.

I managed to snaffle 22/1 Any Festival Race and 33/1 JLT shortly after the race assuming he would drop in price this afternoon.

Big fan of Brewin’Upastorm but only over shorter, I don’t think he sees out 2 and 1/2 well enough. Looks tailor made for the arkle to me

with you on that one.
often held up, and often outstayed after travelling up nicely.
trainer hinted as much earlier this year (the 2 novices switching trips when chasing)

might be a coin toss though, depending on ground etc, but I see TD here and brewin arkle at moment.
50/50 though

I would imagine they’ll be split up for Cheltenham. Olly Murphy didn’t sound too confident about Thomas Darby’s schooling there, said he schooled ok but it was how he said it which implied not great!

Also my take, can't see me backing him for this race as a result unless that breathing op has worked wonders. Will be a bit disappointed if he does end coming here with a lively chance as was a big fan of the horse last season and got a decent run for my money in the Ballymore at a big price.

Backed the TD Brewinupastorm double (both ways, which would reduce my disappointment if he Brewin is aimed here) a while back so hoping both have great seasons, are kept apart and make it to the Festival again.

Black Op looked a different horse from last year there, nice form boost for Samcro tomorrow

B365 dropped him to 10-1 for that ????

Was nice to see him jump so much better than last year I've had a bit of the 25s still with Hills

Same here Taylor. He had zero respect for a hurdle, yet finished close enough to Samcro to make him of serious interest. Clearly still retains ability as per the performance today, no brainer going in at 27.63/1 a couple of times.

The more this becomes competitive the more I am tempted to cash Laurina for the race, I can't see her being in a dog fight with the current crop and now probably don't see her as value @ 12/1 for the race, I'm close to conceding.

Added him myself and got 28/1 with the boost. Seems more than fair to me. 2m4f looks his trip and he has mixed it with the very best the past few seasons.

I wouldnt cash her yet CoD... Ive backed her for both the Arkle and JLT and think she's bound to shorten to a silly price on the back of one novice chase win

Yeah I'm going to wait for her debut, then probably cash.

William Hill traders gone to sleep or they know something we don't
