Mares Novice Hurdle 2019

Waiting for feedback, Jack. Before the race I'd said to Steve that, as a small mare, I thought that Robin would be better going over further and getting weight from the boys. Not disgraced today but no chance in this race.

I thought they'd have her more prominent from the off today considering she's got the stamina. Suppose Honeysuckle likes to lead so maybe not worth it, but difficult to see her winning the way they raced her iMO. More experience for March tho.

When she got beaten over the shorter trip before, Paul said that she was going as fast as she could.

That is - quite simply - the maddest price I have ever seen. And watching her jump the last makes it even madder! Mad, mad, mad, mad price!

Really? The maddest based on? The key trend to this race is Willie Mullins and he has no stand out.

I think the price is a tad short, but they only have one horse that has shown something. Can easily change in the next few weeks.

I think Honeysuckle sets the standard ... but I don't think she'll be fav on the day - which makes the best price 5/1 not appeal as much as it could.

I'd need to see the final field before deciding whether I could "see her out of the 3", which would stop me having an each way bet too at the price.

Looking forward to salsaretta next time she’s out, if Chante Neige isn’t ready Sal may well come here with a good chance

Completely passed me by that Not Many Left's victory on Friday is more Salsaretta form, albeit at differing trips.

2 horses that finished the race against her have come out and won, yes both over different trips and yes the Grade 2 Felix Desjy won was a crap Grade 2, but it's nice form to see all the same.

Hoping for a good run from black tears tomorrow with this in mind. Travelled like the best horse on her hurdle debut and maybe didn't quite see out the trip so glad to see her back over 2 miles. Her bumper form was solid last year as well.

Scooby any view on Mullins mare running vs black tears tomorrow? Earth day?

Just out of interest . Did you back colreevy with 365? And are you cashing before entries?

I'm torn but think I'll leave her. Won't hold you to it obviously.

What are thoughts on chante neige, got her in quite a few doubles ans large single....i can pretty much cash out for a bit of profiit and dont really want to loose any money on her.

Will she be getting an entry?

I'd cash any singles that you can. As she'll still be a fair price after entries. If she's entered.

I Assume she will be, but not worth the risk.

She's a he. Decent form, and reputation

I'll be honest. I thought the form was poor tbh, though it was only 1 run.

I'd say it was combination of going to WPM, the owners and general reputation that makes him the price he is.

The 2nd valcroix has quite a big rep with maccaire. Assuming that's why they bought the 3rd. (Earth day)

There is no real solid form in the book though, is there?

Just making sure I'm somehow not missing something.
