Jared Sullivan has been a huge backer this past year or so, and Im sure Willie will be desperate to give him a Festival winner. Laurina looks far and away his best chance of doing so, and I think that may even enter his thoughts with plans for Salsaretta.

RR is no doubt still his number one owner, but JS is probably number two now.

I'd be lying if I said this thought hadn't crossed my mind too!

Also think Stormy Ireland has a magnificent chance in the Triumph too, but this is the least competitive race for him to bag a winner, and to my eyes Laurina has looked special to date.

I thought about a Laurina / Stormy Ireland double last night (and toyed with Getabird as a trixie) ... but a friend of mine has the same bet at much bigger prices than now for 5 figures so I went off the idea :highly_amused:

In a multiple, double my money and not nrnb. As u say i dont see her getting a run now so they could keep her as a novice for next season?

Patrick - shes fine and ready for a run but time running out for Cheltenham (about Salsaretta)
 
Thought Allextrix paid Laurina another compliment yesterday.

5 lengths behind a ridden out Meri Devie in comparison to 11 lengths to a barely touched Laurina
 
From that Ruby video.... he says Laurina isn't as pacey as Limini but is definitely quicker than Let's Dance....

Gives us a fairly good idea of where she sits in the pecking order.

Limini was the Ricci/Ruby banker of the meeting....

Let's Dance was a really well gambled on mare that got the job done.

Don't need to get too creative in finding the winner of this race if he's close to being right!
 
Probably doesn’t help that if Salsaretta is/was as good as everyone says it would have been her going here but obviously injuries have put paid to that so Laurina may well have been stable second string for this
 
Great to hear Marias Benefit over her injury scare , she the only feasible ulternative to Laurina imo.

Wouldn't rule it out, but Ruby wouldn't ride it and they'd probably go for the 2nd place and keep the novice status.

Salsaretta for next year seems much more likely at this stage. If Laurina wasn't there, then maybe that'd change... but she is!
 
At this stage i'd take it as a pretty big negative on Laurina if they put Salsaretta in.

Yes Ricci may try and push for her to run but it looks like Laurina is very well fancied and the vibes are only getting stronger on her so I don't think they'll run her.

A friend of mine knows and works with the owner and has said that the injury was nothing and she was fine a day or two after
