Yeh thats been a worry of mine for a while. Took a big price knowing this might be the case.

Last years Fairyhouse results show it near impossible to run to a good ability in both. 2m4f being her trip & the bonus of the race being a grade 1 must be taken into account.

NRNB probably best. was available at 16's for mares novice as you pointed out on your thread. I took that, just in case.

There is a third option. She could go Albert Bartlett where she can also claim the mares allowance.

Just to remind you quevega took a break of 241 days from her 4 year old season in to 5, returning in mid February, before winning the mares hurdle.
so I'd hardly call lossiemouth or gala marceau MIA.

I know it's been done before but with the benefit of hindsight we know Quevega was a freak of nature. Sounds like its always been the plan to start Lossiemouth late and/or go straight to Cheltenham but that doesn't detract from the fact that she is MIA and will be stepping out of novice company into open company over an unknown trip as a short priced favourite.
 
The Mares Hurdle back in the day was also very, very short on quality.

A very valid point Lobos. The mare's programme back then was poor and there were very few quality NH mares in training.

My point wasn't about the quality of mares in training.
It wasn't even to do with lossiemouths chances.
It was rejecting that she's MIA when it's been a plan since day1 this season. MIA for me is a bit misleading

I look a right nob in my Mini Cooper windows wound down playing Bucky Done Gun at full volume.
Arular is a brilliant record.

I was once parked at traffics lights blasting out Madonna’s Like a Virgin and two tramps crossing in front of me started dancing with cans in their hands.
Made my day that.

Arular and Kala are both iconic records. Sadly all went dramatically downhill after she met that hedgefund guy and everything she;s done since has been absolute shite(edit to say that's unfair, Bad Girls is pretty good).

Also never saw her live cos I had tickets to see her at the Coronet and she cancelled the show as she was "staying on my couch til they catch Bin Laden"

Anyway, back to Mares

Zenta entered in a handicap Hurdle at the DRF. I think 20s NRNB is a decent price if she ends up in the Mares Hurdle.
