July Festival Yankee

If we’re open to a riskier punt, I wouldn’t be averse to Laurina (Arkle) and BDD (Mares) being a part of it.

Id second that. Gilgamboa, Laurina, BDD and one other

Not sure we can do Kalashnikov and Gilgamboa in the same bet because we can't get top price with the same bookies.

I'd be against Annamix but happy to go with the majority.

Definitely BDD for an all age Mares Chase.

Mentioned it two or three times. One of which was after she won the Mares Hurdle at Punchestown after winning At Cheltenham.

Seen quotes for him saying about chasing for Benie and Laurina now so both right:encouragement:

Problem with Gilgamboa is we can only use Sky

and Laurina (Arkle) and Benie Des Dieux (Mares) are clear best price with WH.

I've already made the case and backed the trixie with Buveur D'air in the ante-post thread so I'm obviously happy with either of them.

Annamix I'd be okay with but begrudge putting anything other than a free bet on it so I'd be with FM and prefer another...

Kalashnikov best price 25-1 with coral, Penhill best price 9-1 with coral , Laurina 12-1 with coral,.
Don't see any prices for Gilgamboa, have B.d.d. though i'm sure

Just had a look on Oddsch. - B.D.D is 7-2 with coral.

Not sure best prices are going to matter too much if one of these bigger priced ones comes in, it will pay beyond the bookies limit anyway, would be more relevent for 2 or 3 winners I suppose, but I'm guessing most of us will have a lot of the selections covered in singles and doubles, so best prices could be taken with those.

I’ve asked B365 to add a Foxhunters market, so we have a week or so to wait and see if they’ll do that

With a week to go, it’s looking like being four from six.

If we have a vote again, that seems fair and I’ll add them up again next week. Everyone alright with that? As I’ve said before, I don’t want to come across like I’m taking over.

The six options that have been most talked about are:
- Kalashnikov for the JLT (best price 25/1)
- Penhill for the Stayers (9/1)
- Buveur D’Air for the Champion Hurdle (7/2)
- Gilgamboa for the Foxhunters (limited odds available but best of 14/1)
- Benie Des Dieux for the Mares Hurdle (4/1)
- Laurina for the Arkle (14/1)

My votes are for:

- Laurina - Arkle
- BDD - Mares
- Penhill - Stayers
- Buveur D'air - Champ Hurdle

(If we only get ONE vote each, I would go "Laurina - Arkle"

You get four votes this time. Last time was three as one horse was unanimously wanted in even before the vote.

This time it’s basically just four from six.

I'd be happy with all 6 but for the 4 - Laurina, Kalashnikov, Penhill and BDD

Was there talk of a cheltenham yankee based on horses that didn't make Cheltenham 2018?
