Goodluck

At the very least it looks like it should be an excellent week racing wise - open and competitive races and for the most part - the right horses going for the right races.

All the best to all on here - hope the week is a successful one 🤞

I’ve just picked up some bread for Saturday, just in case it’s a nightmare of a week, can’t beat beans on toast after a battering

Funny, come Saturday the laptop will be turned off, and that will be me done (Cheltenham marks the end of the jumps season for me). The golf clubs will be out, and I’ll be playing my first round of the holding season this weekend - always feels weird closing one door, only to open another

I used to come on here years ago, but work, life, etc got in the way. Still come on before Cheltenham every year to see what you guys are talking about. Hopefully when I retire next year, I can commit a bit more time to my passion and get on here a bit more often. Good luck to everyone this year, and here's hoping Nicky has a great festival 🤞

Wishing all fat boys and girls (if we have any) all the best for the next 4 days. And please remember if your up please give to our leaders (kevloaf) donations page (thinks his mortgage has gone up) No please this forum is great keep it going.

Haha

Yeah I've got non runners to pay for..... DIG DEEP

:ROFLMAO:

I probably need to say for the record I don't take a salary or cut of anything which I am sure no-one assumes anyway but y'know

Good Luck Everyone ! , and ENJOY IT .,
A years worth of study , effort and Banter on F..J. , all going into the next 4 day's.
I'm not over confident about my bets , plenty of n/r's again , but hopefully a few Gem's.
Agree with Somer , if you have a good festival , make a donation .. I definitely will .
F.J. has been a lifeline and a good friend to me in what has been a Rancid year .👍👍❤.

Good luck all.

Just the usual welfare message to all members, lurkers and the thousands of guests on here this week. Don't go mad chasing that winner if it doesn't come in the first few races. The BHA has made sure day 1 is no longer a punters day. There are 28 races and it is a marathon, not a sprint. Good luck (y)(y)(y)

Time for breakfast, after 12 months of being sure about some races, now I'm looking at them like I've not heard of most of these horses before :ROFLMAO:
Very best of luck to all Fat Jockeys, may all your bets be winning ones, let them all come home safe & sound.
See you all on the other side.

…popping a placepot and a few Exacta’s, using FBs and bookmakers offers.

All set, good luck everybody.

Thanks all and hope you all had a great week. I might not post much but this place is central to my interest and 100% the best place for like minded people out there. Despite being far too risk averse when book building, break-even at the end of yesterday and the Heart Wood (40/1) / Gaelic Warrior (16/1) double ensured good profit for the week - best not to mention what Spillanes Tower would have paid.

Not going to go in to the ins and outs of a lessons learned thread again - but for me I’m f*$king off the novices so early and focusing on the more predictable “book” races early doors. The value is more on the day every year.

We go again…
