I posted in his diary, but has anyone heard anything from charlie

Feels super weird it being Cheltenham week and not seeing him around

Mentioned this the other day too, to someone. Usually full of it about now, hope all is OK :encouragement:

No, seemed a really nice genuine guy as well. He was the first back I think around October to flag up Fact to File as going to the Ryanair. He deserves all the plaudits for that view alone.

It's not Cheltenham until he's got the binoculars out spying on the Cross Country schooling

Yes charlie and also Run4Home. Always enjoyed reading their thoughts/take on things. Hope both are doing well.

All good mate , just been a busy few months haven't had much time to add too much input but enjoyed reading as much as I could on here.

Best of luck to yourself and everyone else this week :encouragement:

Anyone know when the cut off time is for reserves ? Many thanks

back of my mind I’m thinking 1pm day before race?

Start of season he was thought to be so well handicapped but just hasn't fired yet. No better 2 boys that Willie and Paul to get that right eh :biggrin-new: Be Aware I think takes bit of stopping though myself.

Anything Paul jumps on you know yourself he what he thinks the chances are, doesn't ride in them for the crack!

"Coming here this week, my duty is to get winners for owners and her best chance of a winner we think is in the Mares Hurdle."

Something to remember, when thinking about Mullins bingo

Lots won't be said but if she was firing she wouldn't be there , SM did the better work in the lead up and Paul committed early which gave RR a decision.
At 80/90 she should be too good for the mares so likely doesn't matter

Seem to remember something similar from Henry with Honeysuckle

Assuming he's telling the whole truth and not just trotting out bog standard trainer mantra's of course.

The work reasoning is back again, surprise surprise.
Cue for State Man getting PU, and Lossie bolting up.

Tricky for Willie all ways round really.
I wonder how he broke the news to Kenny Alexander.:uncomfortableness:

This whole scenario was discussed in depth on here at all stages of the season.
The latest was just after Dublin.
And in this regard, Elliot and the connections of BDA have played a blinder by going early.
Writing was on the wall at that point.
In fact they've mugged Willie and Townend off more than once this season, with her so far.

I must admit I thought Willie would still have preferred to go double handed and have Jade as Fav in the Mares.
But I don't think he could convince Ricci. And how much he tried is doubtful I get that.
Just my theory though, guesswork of course.

Possibly something not right in that little relationship I reckon. Gaelic only given the Ryanair option was odd also.
However, looking at the exchange price for him (20's right now), then something else may be at play, i.e he's not well enough to run in any race.
So might make this last point meaningless. Not be the first time :highly_amused:

I've just had my stake back for Ephesus (who was a reserve for tomorrow) - so that sounds about right :eagerness:
