Galway

Todays patent , 1. Roachdale house - 5-10
2. On fiddlers green - 6-15
3. cosy club - 7-55 just for a bit of fun .

Great shout on Balko and a fine run from Airlie Beach :encouragement::very_drunk:

Cheers, mayo, she's been a little star. Paul rode a fine race. Almost as if he'd come on here to get riding instructions.

Having been very quiet of late, I have to put in a good word for Mine Now in the the 3.05 (Saturday). The form of his 4th behind Swamp Fox looks really good with the winner just being caught of a 14 pounds higher rating in the Galway Hurdle, and 4 out of the 5 horses who have run since having won on their next outing. Richie Deegan is good value for his seven pounds and gets on well with the horse, the ground will pose no problems and the trainer is in great form. Word has it that the horse has never been better but I couldn't possibly comment on that. I would encourage anyone to take the 20's with Paddy Power and Bet365 as that price will likely not last long in the morning.

Back to earth yesterday. Today another patent . 1. - Mountain rock - 2-30
2. - Cap D'aubois - 3-05
3. - Mount wellington - 4-15 .
Thanks B.o.f. will have a small each way on that one . , good to hear from you Mayo !, good luck to all.

Good call Bayoffreedom !!, Thanks for that info.

The dangers of not checking in :heart-borken:

Great shout BoF

Willie would have to take out his other thirteen for us to get a run.

Between Willie & JP not much room for anyone else in the Hurdle.

Whisky Sour 3 wins from 4 runs on the track the one that caught my eye at first look.

I'm interested in David's Charm. Had been on my shortlist for this for a while and a couple of spins on the flat should have him spot on for this.

I've had a few quid ew on Slowmotion in the plate at 12/1, I reckon JP will hammer this one in the next few days, wouldn't surprise me if it goes off fav

It is going to be impossible for me not to back Ivanovic Gorbatov on good ground.

Impossible.

Impossible.

I had convinced myself that it was time to give up on him.......and then saw his current hurdle rating.

I also have to back him at a double figure price on good ground

Well that makes the 3 of us

Was going to ask if anyone fancies Stratum, but he appears to have been taken out of the list

I would have but was always unlikely. Looks set for some big Autumn targets ...

I've also backed Slowmotion with Ladbrokes (13/1) tonight in the Galway Plate. I just have absolute faith in Joseph to have had a big ring around the race and can see the price being single figures come the race.

I think that Wicklow Brave's withdrawal puts everything up by 9lb and makes the Hurdle a slightly different race.

I refer the honourable gentlemen to the first post on this thread that had last year's winner among the 3 or 4 qualifiers. Worth another look on Wednesday.

Shanning is avaliable as long as 50/1 and as short as 14/1. If she got a run we'd fancy her but it's very unlikely so any bet should be money back if she doesn't get in.
