Foxhunter Chase 2020

Might wait till the final decks to see if he turns up
Good to see him entered though
Also, will be hoping to see Derek o Connor on board
Particularly as no sign of standupandfight so far

:encouragement:

Let me know as this'll slip my mind

I'll back if declared at 40/1 I think

Second fav, Bob and Co running today against Minella Rocco, in the same race that kickstarted Hazel Hill last year. Don’t know much about him but the pick of his French form looks good and still has time on his side. Thinking of adding him at 12s with cash out as seems a fairly low risk bet... if beat should still get majority of stake back? Any views?

BHA have confirmed (via Rory Delargy on Twitter) that Mighty Stowaway is ineligible for this

Can I change my pick in the antepost tipping comp then?!:highly_amused:

That was a shocker from Bob and Co, pulled the jockeys arms out for 2 miles.

Maybe something wrong with the saddle or other kit, had to be pulled up after wandering all over the place in front, when pulling like a train.

Hazel Hill......Banker !!!!

Bob and Co pulled so hard that his jockey David Maxwell said post-race that after 2 miles his legs cramped badly with the effort for that length of time to try to settle him. He tried to ease it, the horse still pulled him all over the track, and he finally managed to pull him up round a fence in the back straight.

Frustrating, that.

Wonder what the plan is now.

I would imagine he is thinking more fondly of Shantou Flyer being his number one again after that mess, the horse looked unmanageable.

Hazel into 7/2 in a place now. That is still good value if you haven't already backed him. The opposition looks very thin on the ground. He could easily go off around 2/1.

Or you could just take 4/1 :)

Stand Up and Fight @ 16/1 EW the play for me
