Fat Jockey Farewells (NH)

One of my old favourites Monet's Garden has sadly passed away... a standing dish at Aintree where he won 5 of his 9 races there, including his last one as a 12 year old. RIP.

This news passed me by. What an absolute legend of a horse, loved him.

Said that to my friend during the race they should retire him. Clearly gone at the game... one of my favourites. Shame.

Wow that's a bold'un!

Went 3 seasons without a win before beating The New One (:highly_amused::devilish:) last season.

Then again, one of my favourites is Al Ferof who has a pretty similar strike rate.
