Portrush Ted has been retired.

Poor Rathhill was lost today - went off fav for the Tolworth in 2019 and was debuting for Haslam out the back of the TV today when falling. Surely could have been PU'd by Richie.

That did not look good for Lami Serge. Would be surprised if he's not PTS there.

Thistlecrack retired. That was a special day at Cheltenham when he won the stayers. Everyone seemed on and he hosed up on the absolute snaff! It was incredibly impressive. Happy retirement

A well deserved retirement

Ah Thistlecrack, two of the most amazing performances I've seen. The Stayers Hurdle on the bridle and the King George as a novice.

Carried NH racing for a bit IMO, when we lacked a few stars he stepped up.

The year he won the Stayers was the first week i'd ever attended the festival, so i'll always be a massive fan. Cracking horse, says it all when he's a 5 time grade 1 winner and yet there's still a feeling he could have gone on to much more. Not too many of those around!

Joe's Edge passed away yesterday, exactly 14 years on from his 50/1 Cheltenham win, also a Scottish National winner.
