Positive signs that Tizzard is about to run ino form. His 2 horses today 1st and 2nd.
Good news for The Legend as the Betfair chase approaches.

The assistant trainer also provided updates on Lostintranslation, who is set to tackle the Betfair Chase in a potential bid for the National Hunt triple crown, and Elegant Escape, who could also line-up at Haydock on November 23.

He said: "As things stand I couldn’t be happier with Lostintranslation two weeks ahead of the Betfair Chase. He ticked all the boxes up at Carlisle, had a nice blow and jumped brilliantly.

"We've had a long conversation about Elegant Escape joining him as he's recovered well from his second in the Charlie Hall, but the Ladbrokes Trophy is another option.

"The Betfair Chase would be another step up but we're committed as it stands, and if it's looking soft we might take our chance. If not we'll go for the Ladbrokes Trophy and then maybe another tilt at the Welsh National."
 
More comedy from the Coral sponsored Tizzards. Wont go anywhere near the welsh national though no doubt that article has helped the bookies take a few extra quid on The Champ for the welsh national. Free money.

EE is going to be rated around 170 after he wins the betfair chase.
 
Its the king george after the betfair chase unfortunately. Npt a race I wanted him to go for but I doubt connections will be able to resist after he has won leg 1 of the triple crown.
 
Notice how just 1 week ago EE was definitely going to the becher chase to give him experience for the grand national.

Just 1 day later after the interview they enter him in the betfair chase and then enter him in the king george. Aintree is no longer talked about but now they start talking of the welsh national.

Pair of rascals them 2. Playing the public who lap up there every word like a fiddle.

EE has always been a gold cup horse any other talk is just to help out the sponsors.
 
What photo has the Colin Tizzard racing facebook page (colins page) got as the profile picture and have had it for almost a year now?

Is it Lostintranslation?
Is it Native River?

Of course not its the tizzards holding the welsh national trophy won by the stable superstar and undisputed number 1 horse ELEGANT ESCAPE.
 
Lostintranslation has a Ryanair festival entry as well as a gold cup entry. He started this season over 2m 4f rather than 3m.
This suggests they are not certain that Lostintranslation will stay the gold cup trip. After Elegant batters him to infinity and beyond in the betfair chase then they will be more likely to end up in Ryanair come March.

There are no Festival entries yet. The possible entries are just the guesses of some muppet at the Racing Post.
 
I assumed with the possible entries that the trainer must have indicated to the rp that it was possible they may go. So am surprised its based purely on guesses though the rp do employ clowns.

Still very possible he may end up in the ryan air imo if he gets destroyed in the betfair chase which I expect him to if he turns up.

Entriee out for the Becher Chase and surprise surprise Elegant Escape is not in the race.
The reason being he isnt going anywhere near a national.

Shame on you Joe Tizzard for your interview after the charlie hall chase when you told the sheeple this race was the target when the champ has always been Gold Cup bound.

Lostintranslation also beat a 156 rated chaser in Kildisart while EE got beaten by a 152 handicapper in Ballyoptic. Nice to switch it around to suit your narrative

Also I'd be very surprised if LIT doesn't get the Gold Cup trip. He ran over 2m4 for most of last season and was crying out for more. Since going upto 3m he's routed a field including the RSA winner then put one of the most impressive jumping performances of the season in his next run over 3m

Weather forecast for next week at haydock is sunshine and no rain on Mon,tue and wednesday with just showers on friday and thursday and dry on the day of the big race.

Good/soft likely if that forecast proves to be correct with the current track going apparently soft.

Could end up in Ladbroke Trophy a week later but the team remain confident that the great champion The Legend turns up at Haydock wearing cloth number 3.
There is no horse to be scared of at Haydock and gd/sft is not a problem at all no matter what people say that he needs testing. That is a myth the same as the myth that he is slow.
