The draw has been made and all managers are now known, @Joeski29 kindly volunteered to steer Wednesday's ship.
Same as the monthly yankees, post suggestions and discuss in here and @Joeski29 will decide who is worth listening to and who talks complete bollocks and will hopefully find us all four winners.
We'll set the deadline at Sunday evening for all yankees but leave a little creative licence for the later week yankee managers if key decisions aren't confirmed.
Best of luck.....

4 EW suggestions for Day Two:-

The Yellow Clay (MGM Cup)
Vanillier (XC Chase)
Ballysax Hank (G.Annual)
The Mourne Rambler (Bumper)

So looking through the races I’m thinking of the following:

Jingko Blue - Bet MGM Hurdle
The last 5 winners had all run in a juvenile/novice hurdle in a previous festival (I’m counting Langer twice to suit my reasoning) and 8 out of the last 10 have been 6 or 7 year olds.
The form behind Kabral in the last race off level weights looks a decent bit of form.

Stumptown - Cross Country

Been the plan all year, no concerns about the time off as showed well being winning the Velka Pardubicka in October on his only run this season, he only had 2 runs before winning last year.
Will have for me one of the best jockeys for this race onboard too.

I’m thinking we avoid the Brown Advisory, that looks minefield

Tempted by Jazzy Matty for the Grand Annual, no horse has won it twice in a row since 1976 but we saw how close Unexpected Party got to doing that last year.

Based on the last 9 years we look no further than Ireland for the bumper winner so going to ignore how impressive some of the British winners have been and the last 5 Mullins winners have been either the Mullins first or second string.

Based on this going to rule out any British horses and any Mullins horse which isn’t Love Sign or The Irish Avatar (sorry Heldam).

As much as I’ve mentioned some stats to rule out horses I’m intrigued by Mets ta Ceinture, only 2 4 year old winners from 91 runners and her first race under rules but has had more runs than some of the other horses entered and won her last race, which the last 22 winners had done (so Google tells me).

Anyone else with any thoughts on any of the races?

Really like Jingko Blue @Joeski29 (y)

Depending on when you are posting final selections, I also like both of Robcours in the Grand Annual, more so Relieved Of Duties at a big price as he came over for some course form back in October. That said, could also make cases for at least 7 or 8 in that race including last seasons winner and Be Aware for the Skeltons.

Wouldn't touch the bumper, personally.

Drifting to an ew price.
The trendy pick obviously Favori but this lad has far more banks experience and I like the idea of him coming here fresh...

How concerned would you be about them running Relieved of Duties here given Golden Joy is a similar price and only entered in this race whereas Relieved Of Duties is also entered in Plate (where Robcour have no entries) and the Jack Richard’s (where they have Slade Steel)?

How much say do you think Robcour have in their entries or do you think it would be down to Elliott as I can see he has a lot of handicap entries.

Slightly shorter for the Plate than the Grand Annual but not by enough that I think it has any relevance in where they will be going with him.

Do you have Be Aware as your next best for the race?

Stumptown may drift even further if we get no rain.
Final Orders will get a lot closer to him in the betting.
Always thought Stumptown backers were probably taking too short a price but in truth they have got unlucky with the weather really.
Although Elliott was always going to throw a lot at the race anyway.
Stumptown is carrying a penalty for last years win and if you watch it back he was outpaced before staying on again. Not sure he'll get that chance this year if the ground is genuinely good. It'll just suit the yards other 2 even more I reckon, as they have more speed.

….for those that like Wendigo, I get the impression his trainer likes this one better. 40-1 NRNB Hills;

WILDE’S LEGACY

“He is a big price for the Champion Bumper, but he is a horse that I really like.

"He bolted up in his first bumper on the all-weather and he then followed up under a penalty in soft ground at Huntingdon.

"He has got bags of speed and I think he is massively overpriced.

“I think he is mentally ready for this as I think he is a smart horse. It will be a competitive race as you would expect, but I wouldn’t be swapping our lad.”

I watched the highlights for this one’s debut run where he hits a flat spot on the turn and looks like he’s boxed in by the likely winner but when he gets his act together flies home

Now that Relieved of Duties hasn’t been declared for the Plate will include in the Yankee for the Grand Annual, as suggested by Complyordie.

For the final selection will include Mourne Rambler for the Bumper, as suggested by Eudipe and was the most popular selection when I went through the Diamond Geezer competition picks on Tuesday.

Day 2 selections are:

Jingko Blue - Coral Cup
Stumptown - Cross Country
Relieved of Duties - Grand Annual
Mourne Rambler - Bumper

3 double priced selections in there means you can play each way or on the nose.

Best prices are with 888 Sport, then Hills and then Bet365.

Good luck!
