Whisperinthebreeze has halved in price to 3/1 for Jessie Harrington and Robbie Power, couple of fancied runners in the race that have drifted in the face of the money for this one, in the 2.05 at Galway.

I hope a few of you spotted Pearl of the West in the Cheltenham 2.35, Sean Bowen ride, backed in from 12's to 5's at the off, I managed to get in at 9's, hopefully others did the same.

The 12.35 at Redcar has attracted a few gambles but the really interesting one for me is House deposit at the head of the handicap, Carroll/Stott, 8/1 into 11/4, seems quite a move in the context of this race.

Another at the top of the handicap is Billy Ray in the 2.15, significant move again from 14's into 9/2 for Mick Channon/Graham Lee

Well, a 7/1 winner and an 8/1 winner, doesn't get much better than that.

Have a big fancy for Canardier today. Horse with plenty of ability, a shade disappointing at Galway, but bounced back to form with a great 3rd at Down Royal. He is still a novice and finished behind Woodland Opera + Peregrine Run. Woodland Opera has since won well again in a G2 chase. It is possible also that the 3miles stretched him that day, and this step back down in trip will help him.

In the context of this race, that is massive form to me, we are talking about the other market challenger having won at Perth and Sedgefield, her trainer is a master, but i think she's really easy to take on here. Danger for me is Fergal O'Briens horse at 10s, she has good bumper form and step back up in trip will help her.

Pretty confident on Canardier at 5/2.

Well done Jack. I hadn't seen this write up but a nice selection.

:triumphant:

Would getting a rolling +/- level stakes going at SP tracker be worthwhile?

Headman in the 6.0 at Newcastle tomorrow has been supported from 4's into 11/10, this Roger Charlton newcomer is onviously impressing in his work, not much of a price but well fancied.

Nothing too dramatic but I’m told Cherbourg is being sold tomorrow and is 15/2 from 10s

Somewhat predictably now drifting back out

Lingfield 3.05 Law Girl, both PP & Betfair went 15/8-2/1 for her on opening prices, everywhere else there were 4's about, they are still reluctant to push her out too much but best you can get now is 3/1 among the other bookmakers. Maybe something in it?

Headland won well, looks like a nice horse, bit green but first time out he looked to have plenty in hand.
So 11/10 when posting, gives us a point profit, to 1pt stakes, for November, probably the last winner till the new year now, hopefully just kidding.
Western Duke has halved in price tomorrow for Ian Williams in the 7.45 at Kempton, Stevie Donohoe jocked up, not great form this season but down in the weights, and has a course and distance win on his cv. Around 3/1 at the mo.

Interesting one in the 3.10 at Newmkt tomorrow, Collide for Hugo Palmer, 9/2 into 11/4 with the excellent Jason Watson jocked up.

Big move in the 13.05 Ayr - Blakerigg for Nicky Richards in to 6s and 7s from 11s and 12s - Brian Hughes in the saddle

Western Duke length and a half down in third, so a run for our money but not good enough. Back to levels then for Nov.

Vakilita 12-50 New
40's b365 25 general
consistently backed down to general 16 and lower.
still 20s b365
maiden race and unraced,
trainer won couple of similar maidens recently at big prices
race looks weakish

Can't claim much success for Collide, finished last, nothing else to say really, so now a point down for November, bummer.

Blakerigg was selected using your rules Mr Mc - you might not include this in your P/L but thanks for all your hard work which I am sure is helping a lot of us look at a different angle.
