Daily movers

Hadn't spotted it earlier but the same combo as above have Island Glen in the 5.45, backed from 14's into 7/2, bit late but obviously fancied.

Sorry the second one was so late, but still a winner, both with the same trainer/jockey combo, Island Glen won nicely, the other one was shocking.
Still 2.5 pts profit on the thread, rounding down again means we are now +6pts for November. Going to keep a note of the half points in case it's that close at the end of the month:highly_amused:

Wolf country has been supported into 9's, ew 1/4 odds 5 places, in Doncs 3.15 tomorrow, teams don't come any stronger than Charlie Appleby and James Doyle so the money is no surprise. This is an ew so I'll be allowing for that in the p&l.

:encouragement: Excellent...

Good luck today.

Thanks Kev, unfortunately it was a miserable failure. I don't know if something went wrong with Wolf country, he went short priced fav in running then just seemed to stop.
Anyway, with 1pt ew that leaves us +4pts for November.

Jepeck has been supported in the 3.35 at Ffos las for Anthony Honeyball, 7/2 into 2/1, Rex Dingle takes 7lb off, should help given the rain makes it a stamina test at this course more than most.
There's also Pobbles bay, a race earlier, for Evan Williams, into 5's from 7's, so not a major move but is accompanied by a drift for More Bucks, full disclosure, I've already backed the latter it being from the Bowen yard, ridden by James, but the money for the Williams horse is a concern, and the gamble looks to have momentum.

Molineaux 1.15 and Rock Gone 3.25, plus have already backed Terrefort for the KG so hoping for a big run from him.

Well that hope was dashed on the rocks, combination of ground and the weakness from the saddle.

So a winner and a place today, not too bad, Jepeck did amazingly well to win as convincingly as he did given the ground he gave away jumping out to his right so badly, could win again under a penalty, definitely one to keep a look out for.
Anyway a 2/1 winner gives us a point profit on the day so that's + 5pts for Nov.

Atyaaf in the finale at Southwell is a pretty big mover from 16's into 9/2, D Shaw/P Mathers, 5f sprint presumably showing plenty ahead of his racecourse debut.
There is another one in the race that's come in from 66's to 8/1 for S Bowring/Robert Winston, but she's had 2 races prior to a long break and has been beaten along way, so would have to be showing huge improvement to figure here, trainer and jockey both in good form though. The first selection is the one for the thread given he hasn't seen a track in anger, so could be anything.

The Southwell opener has an interesting one too in Shearian for D Carroll/Callum Shepherd, this one has halved in price to 5/2.

So Shearian 1/2 length second at 15/2, so that was a bit unlucky, Atyaaf, sp 20/1, faded after looking to be in with a shout till around a furlong out, not sure where you go though with a horse that doesn't stay 5f. Anyway that's a 2pt loss on the day so that leaves us at + 3pts for Nov

Interesting move for Uhlan Bute at Hunty in the 2.40, 6's into 4's for Venetia Williams, always worth a look when the ground is testing early season. Plenty of help from the saddle too with Brian Hughes jocked up.
Also Lough derg mystery in the 1.50 at Lingers, 20's into 9's for Nick Mitchell, not as much assistance from the saddle this time with Daryl Jacob on board, sustained move though, would have this as a point ew at the price.

Haven't seen any racing today but the ones mentioned were obviously garbage, given one was suggested as an ew that's a 3pt loss leaving us flat for November.

Anytime now has been supported in the Ayr 12.35 for Gordon Elliot and Sean Bowen, into 9/4. The trainer has a few interesting runners at Ayr but this seems to be the one for money at the mo, a couple of the others were short priced last night and have drifted, I must admit the chances of several winners for the stable look on the cards.

So the Elliot team could have gone home after the first, poor run from Anytime now, that leavea us -1pt for Nov, will leave it for a day or two now unless something looks too good to miss, anybody spot anything stick it on the thread

Sweet home Chicago looks worth an ew mention in the Chelters 3.0, 14's into 10's, C Bowe with Adrian Heskin on board, right at the foot of the handicap.

Already been backed a bit from 4s into general 5-2.
Swansdown 5-30 Wolverhampton tomorrow.

Given the race being a handicap and it's Cumani's last ever runner, you've got to imagine they think it has a chance.
Beautifilly bred and stepping up in trip on handicap debut off mark of 63. O Murphy booked to ride
May well go off odds on.

I'll have that as leg 1 of a treble with Might Bite and Laurina because I can't resist these kinds of plots but wouldn't back something 5/2 on a Thursday at Wolverhampton in November for anyuthing other than romance :highly_amused:
