Cross Country Chase 2018

Anyone know the going for the XC track? Im starting to twitch about CoC. The Last Samuri my worry

This is not what I wanted to see CoCs weak & Tiger roll being backed.

Still could not back Tiger Roll in this ground, just doesn't like it. I would be more worried about TLS...

It's a lottery of a race this . I wouldn't want to be involved in a decent sized bet in any way. Enjoyable to watch though and looks a cracker. Hoping josies orders
sees a to drift past 10/1 and I'll have an ew bet.

Best of luck everyone with cause of causes/ tiger roll they're far too short for me in race of this nature. Where literally anything can happen.

Get in!!!!!

Well done Charlie. Diddnt back it but it's not a race I like a bet in. Was almost kicking myself for not taking a shorter price that I wanted for urgent de gregaine, well done the guys that had him ew too.

Who every tipped up Tiger Roll for this race a big cheers.Thank you.

Had a cover on tiger roll. But does show that Gordon Elliot talks absolute bolloco*** about tiger roll not going on the ground haha

Cheers pal

Yep, well done to all that had him. Elliots comments put me off, although it was a cover bet, not that it could cover the huge losses sustained by c of c's no show. Dam frustrating, all down to laurina to get me further in front.

COC came back lame and he didn't look right from when Bless The Wings fell. Cost me a small fortune on a 4-fold with Samcro, PP, Altior and COC... Let alone the 16/1 and 10/1 double with Samcro.

Damn... my favourite horse in training and I'm still delighted he just made it home safe.

The commentator said everyone had avoided Bless the wings but I thought at the time that he was wrong, it looked like CoC clearly took a knock

Gutted for COC backers on here but pleased for Keith - one of the good guys.

I think I’m gonna have to do a Presenting Percy/Tiger Roll double as that currently would represent a bit of a wounding Wednesday!

Well this was a sound late night decision on 21st Feb! Think I might’ve been a bit tipsy at the time :highly_amused:

Fair to say this turned a fairly average day into a nice profitable one. Was so impressed with Percy who admittedly I couldn’t fancy at the prices. Thought Monalee ran a great race too, they’re 2 lovely horses to look forward to for next season.

Yeah Coc nearly ran through him

Just seen it on itv and it’s a fair bump - presumably this has led to his lameness. Glad he’s ok but gutted if this is what cost his chance, rather than just having an off day. Just have to wait for a future acca for a chunky five figure return...hopefully

Left with a big feeling of disappointment that Cause of Causes was lame.

The first two days had gone so well I was on for a life changing amount for CoC. I'd prefer to be beaten fair and square that the horse not run its race.

I'm also not sure I believe that they were confident Tiger Roll would handle the ground... you'd have expected him to shorten on the day, not drift to 7/1? Although doesn't really affect anything, he clearly enjoys the hill which is a plus as many highlighted.

Thanks to everyone who made me have the saver on Tiger Roll too, I was adament I wasn't going to at one stage :p

I don't think Tiger Roll winning means Cause of Causes wasn't better value all season though :devilish:
