Cross Country Chase 2018

With a clear round CoC would take all the beating

Unequivocal that Kevin Blake was wrong.

This is amazing

Q from the crowd to clear up the Kevin Blake interview - "Tiger Roll or Cause of Causes" - response from Gordy - "Cause of Causes, Definitely."

Tiger Roll fans notable by their absence tonight :p

.... I'm going to have to hide when Tiger Roll gets backed in to favouritism on the day

music to my ears this, missed the preview tonight, is it available to view anywhere?
did gordon mention anything about the ground? would be my main worry that he seems to come alive on spring ground and its looking like being very soft

He said he wouldnt want it bottomless

he pretty much said aslong as it wasn't a real bog he weren't worried too much (not word for word)
He also said TR would much prefer the good ground and he wouldn't touch him if it was really bad

The XC course is now soft, heavy in places

That will change Ryan, it dries quickly there and with Tue and Wed forecast warm, dry and sunny I wouldn't be surprised if that ran on Soft, good to soft places

GE did say tiger roll would not want it soft to heavy as he hates it, I know CoCs needs better ground but he can cope with it, I can see CoCs getting shorter for this & TR drifting badly and possible getting WD...

The worst thing we could possibly see as COC fans is late money for Tiger Roll and a drift on CoC.... as they're from the stable I'd take it very seriously.

i expect Tiger Roll to shorten to a price that isn't "an each way price".... but if it continues I'll start getting all sweaty.

Me too,

But Tiger roll hates heavy and soft ground, he has won once in soft in 2013 and pulled up in soft to heavy last time, if money comes for him I will be backing CoCs at a bigger price hopefully... I would lay tiger roll not to be in the first 3 if I used the exchanges...

Nice to see Nina jocked up on Josies Orders.

Davy Russell thinks Cause of Causes is beatable on the ground. He likes Last samurai and Tom Bellamy says he has schooled 3 times round the cross country in the last month.

Not ideal news.

I’ve had a saver on the last samuri. If coc and tiger roll aren’t at their best in the ground then he’s the most likely one to pick up the pieces. Has some really good form on soft ground
