Cross Country 2021

Sad news... Unfortunately, due to the current health situation that prevents owners from attending the @CheltenhamRaces festival, AJAS won’t join his stable mate Easysland in the Glenfarclas Chase. Will remain in France and will be prepared for the #PrixTroytown @Hippo_Auteuil

Fair e/w shout. Like you say previous experience over the banks is crucial. Might get 4 places come the day.

I just wonder how many will turn up for this, could end up with just a dozen or so...
 
Speculation but looking at Oddschecker, PP have cut the first 6 in the betting for the Cross Country - apart from Tiger Roll.

Imminent news?

Actually to be fair, as all the odds are now the same as BFSB, it's probably just that bl**dy Oddschecker glitch! Nothing to see here, move on!
 
Do we think Easysland hoses up or with his recent issues to have an affect? Looked a banker for 2021 this when he won last year but having doubts we may have a big priced winner for this.

The stable vibes are very strong, and the competition looks very week. I think its the perfect storm, and even at 80% he'd probably still piss up

I had a look at this race yesterday and came to the same conclusion. I have massive doubts over Tiger Roll. Can't see why they'd take him out of the national if he was in any sort of form at home. Easysland is obviously the right favourite, but there's not much depth in behind. Course form is a must for me!

Agree. The opposition is..........well, there isn't any is there ??
 
I'm happy with that. Easysland is a big one for me, and De Giles rides cross-country very well. He gets far more practice over banks and the like over in France than any of the UK or Irish jockeys. He's also ridden the cross-country course at Cheltenham very well in the past.

The rodeo kid presumably has been sent back to practice on bulls. :lemo:

A big plus that he's already won on Easyslands in a XC race as well . Great news. Think we'll see him go odds on now.

I saw Paddy Power pushed him out to 13/8 but no idea if that was some kind of flash push (and usually very limited)...

is the reason Jonathan Plouganou doesn't take the ride solely because of the quarantine?
 
Felix de Giles is based in France too, so I'd guess not.
