Cross Country 2020

If Vyta Du Roc does turn up on Friday he certainly won't be lacking on the fitness front having run in 3 points already recently. Gordon said he jumps very well. Ran well in the XCC at the fez but that was his first run in this type of race and his then trainer Henderson isn't renowned for horses running in this sphere. I'm really warming to his chances in this and might have some more of the 33's .

Two-time Grand National hero Tiger Roll has suffered a setback and will have a small chip taken out of a joint on Friday. Eddie O’Leary said: ‘’It will rule him out of Christmas, but we hope to make the Boyne Hurdle at Navan. If not, it will be straight to Cheltenham.’’

1. I'm sure Gordon said he would start off in Boyne hurdle anyway.
2. That O'leary's a bastard, for making Tiger miss Christmas !
3. A bit worrying for backers.

1. Yes
2. I kind of like him.
3. Surely there aren't any ante post Tiger backers at the price he is.

Had in the back of my mind that any kind of setback at all, no matter how small would result in immediate retirement.
Luckily at this stage that doesn't seem to be the case....yet.

knew someone had him as a basis for a lot of bets.
Hopefully ok Vautour.
They appear to be keen on getting him to cheltenham no matter what. Don't even think they need the hurdle prep to be fair.
It's a training run if he;s fit. Only Gordon can ruin it by running something else himself.

Just to be Clear , I am Definitely not Knocking it ., We all have horses we particularly like and follow.
And obviously when they have been good winners for you in the past , difficult not to have a nibble .
Far worse thing's ., like my 40-1 Lisnagar oscar -r.s.a , What the hell was i thinking !!!!.

Sky's pushed him out to 7/4.

:highly_amused:
tried to place a double with Tiger & Klassical dream yesterday.
max bet £9 something ????

I'd love to back against him but I cant see what, there must be a realistic chance that hes retired, and a very slight chance that he comes back and just bombs on seasonal debut.

Theres a couple of frenchies, easyland will come over i believe and try to make all, hes a win only bet, as he's either a win or unseat type of horse in france.

Urgent de gregaine is old but if he wins off top weight hes almost an ew certainty again in march with tiger at optimum form.

Diesel dallier very interesting off a light weight on Sunday. Where yanworth just puts in a clanger every time, and I'd be expecting him to make a meal of it.

Josie orders the will to win is there, but the pace and quality isn't. Iv lost all hope in auvergnat, hes had his chance in tip top form.

If anibale fly (longshot) / edwulf suddenly appeared on the radar. That would be interesting.

Not many options.

I was thinking of a little nibble on Diesel d'allier too on sunday. I mentioned ' Billaway ' .
a few days ago - willie .p.mullins . Of any interest for the Fxh.chs in march ???.
***** " Wally !! - for the Foxhunter chase > sorry.

Bill away No interest in the fox hunters for me , unless he's miraculously improved a stone and a half. Black Hercules for patrick of somewhat interest.

Black Hercules has to be of interest. Him, Shantou Flyer & Hazel Hill the only three that I will back until the day, just waiting for a couple of free bets to be released to get BH on side.

Edit: Just realised this is x-c thread and not Foxhunters, so apologies.

don't give up yet BigC.
The last time she won the race.
O'Faolain's boy.
Won it off a rating of 144. having come second first time out and then pulled up on his second attempt.
also had very similar form and placing in the albert bartlett.
Although, I've backed him any race and he'll probably win the pertemps now.:highly_amused:

Yeah , that was the reason i backed L.O . coz of ol O'faolains ,.
But i'm thinking it's wishful thinking at the mo.
Slips in the folder next to the recycle bin ! , for now ???!!.
