County Hurdle 2019

Would like to see the Skelton brothers have another Festival win, as they know how to celebrate

Think Ch'tibello would be of interest if running in this race though he has not won a race for a while, but has a touch of class

She was travelling sweetly on the Saturday just gone, where she finished 4th over 3f further than this race. She was keen enough that day so probably didn't quite see out the trip.

I think a stiff 2m is what she needs anyway. She has some nice form, and was running a fair race in a Grade 1, in heavy ground over at Auteuil where, although looking likely to be beat a fair way, she travelled like she was in the race for a long time, before she eventually fell. That was behind Master Dino, a form line I like, a lot.

Paul has said she has an entry for the County in his Q&A last night, whether she runs or gets in is another thing, but NRNB covers that problem.

PN also has a fair record in the race (thanks to Charlie's analysis), 2 wins and 1 place from 16 runners, so no worries in that department.

I have also added her in an 'owners' Friday double with Pic D'orhy for the Triumph.

I have 3 backed in this race now, and that will be it now until nearer the time.

Falls nicely into the usual 134-139 bracket . 50-1 coral NRMB not 100% sure there rules tbh but huge price potentially

....i’m still with Leoncavallo for this, 33-1 NRNB still available. I notice it has an Imperial Cup entry.

Bet isn't looking so good now IMO :( The only saving grace may be that JP keeps Jezki in the race, who is 10lb's higher than IG and would keep the weight down.
 
Soon as the weights were released I piled into Whiskey Sour EW, looks on a very handy mark right now and ready to strike.

I got 20s but noticed they have cottoned on and hes now 14s with 365. Finished 3rd last year carrying 3lbs more, I can actually see him doing what Mohaayed did last year. Handicap blot to me!!!

You sure CoD? He's showing as number 80 in the list for the Coral Cup and should get a run from there.

No I'm not sure, someone said it earlier on one of the other threads, just relaying that.

Probably a mistake then, as can see him in the weights today (just had to re-look).

Why is he a handicap blot if he didn't win it off 3 lbs higher?

Obvious claims to be 'in the mix' again but a handicap blot would be him lower than last year - not 3 lbs higher?

He would have missed the cut for the Coral every year since 2014
Apart from last year because horses were being pulled for the ground
He’ll get in the County but not sure who would be fancying him over 2m
Very likely to get in the bottom of the Martin Pipe

I feel he is well in Kev, he was rated higher last year but carrying less weight this year. Maybe not a blot then but looks to have a very good chance.

5th in the Champion bumper - respectable.
1st beating Lalor and Summerville Boy over hurdles
6th in the Supreme - weak but respectable as he got hampered when making his move 2 out
5th in the Greatwood - respectable, although that was off 145
3rd in the International - respectable, behind Brain Power and ahead of WHAD, VDF

Now he's not well in, off 150.

but he has been running well, the last 3 runs are 3,3,3 which includes being ahead of Grancy Sancy?

That does include a bit of cherry picking, and I can easily pic kholes too.... but I feel like he'll (cliche) run his race and be around the places... I'm adding at 25/1 e/w - and then looking for ones to beat him.

He's got a good chance and 25/1 is a knocking ew bet.
