Looking forward to Friday, booked the day off to sit and watch the proper return of the jumps. Nicholls as usual has a strong hand on the friday after declarations, particularly looking forward to seeing Knappers Hill start his hurdling campaign. Anyone any strong fancies?

Yeh really looking forward to this too! I'd go but given I nearly just coughed up a lung I'm going to isolate and wait this one out!

I really like Paso Doble. I took 5/1 and he's 11/4 so pretty happy about that.

The novice chase at 1.35 is a great little competitive affair.

It's back! Get flat racing in the fu*king bin as far as I'm concerned (barring the Casarewitch which I'm going to win with a NH horse :tongue-new:)

Do you see Paso Doble as a possible Cheltenham horse Charlie ? He's still a Novice this season isn't he ?

Will be having a good bet on proschema on Saturday if he's a decent price

Was talking to Tom Messenger today, he tells me Proschema has an outstanding chance and is fit, make of that what you will, but ive backed it already

Yeah iv taken the 8s with hills

I'm looking forward to seeing Knappers hill out for the first time this season , ridiculous short price though.

Expecting Paso Doble to step up and win tomorrow, backed
Also backed Hidden Heroics in the same race - first time out for the Skelton's, ex-irsh PTP'er. Too weird to ignore, straight in the deep end
Covering the top trainers who normally start the season well

Starting looking at the card and not wanting to back a 4 year old, ended up backing bloody two of them! ARHHHHHHHHHH

Some competitive looking races today, the novice chase looks good wouldn't wanna put stolen money on it can make a strong case for them all.

Had a L15 with the following to welcome back the season:
Paso Doble
Hell Red
Dancing Shadow
Strictlyadancer

Just had a quick scan through Chepstow & these stood out, no bets today for me though……

Threeunderthrufive
Geordie Des Champs
Camprond
Cabot Cliffs
Mondora
From The Heart

Knappers Hill - 1-00 .
Up for Parole - 2-45 .
Herbiers - 3-20 .
Ready and Able - 4-25 . .... my L.15 today . at Chepstow. , So good to see the Jumps back again... :excitement:.

Like Up For Parol in the G2 today, assuming fully wound up…

Hoping for a big day for the Skeltons tomorrow

As I'v backed
proschema 8/1
allmankind 3/1
Not that fuisse 9/2 (warning cliff horse alert)

Like the looks of Valentino Dancer in the second and Proschema/the Irish raider in the big one. Having said that, don't like the prices of any of them!

Was it just my phone or were the bookies very late in pricing up these races? I looked through the card yesterday and wanted to get money on early, but could only see William Hill had priced up. That hadn't changed when I left Chepstow today (right up there with the longest time to get out of a racecourse car park...). By the time I got back, they were all up and the prices on mine had been clipped in. I hope this isn't going to become the norm!

100%. I've left off NTF, but the Allmankind + Proscchema double has been smashed

Allmankind ran a funny race

Tbh he just looked a bit slow compared to the others

Orbys Legend (15/2) in the 15:30

Hobbs is actually doing ok this weekend, and this 5 year old appears to be unexposed
Interesting, Hobbs started him off at Exeter, same race won by Sporting John the year before (both 4 years old) finishing the season on 149, and once again with Vieux Lille who stepped up into graded company at 138
