Chelters 2016 Antepost bets

Unlucky SS84. Plenty others will have done their money today having seen him stay on 143. Luckily for me, I was in a meeting all afternoon and couldn't check Twitter or I'd have backed him too. Gallant Oscar is one I like if heading for this race.

Yep - should be announced around midday.

Me too, and tomorrow is one of the best days.:encouragement:

They really are on the back foot today. They've slapped ultra conservative prices on everything, 25s, 33s, and the trend horses are already prominent.

More of That gone blue for the JLT and drifting in places for the RSA.

Anyone hear anything about him being JLT bound? I've him backed for the RSA :(

MORE OF THAT, second favourite for the RSA Chase, could run in the JLT Novices’ Chase, connections revealed on Thursday.

The JP McManus-owned eight-year-old, who has only been beaten once in his career, won the 2014 World Hurdle and is two from two since going over fences.

While appearing to have been lined up to take on favourite No More Heroes in the RSA over 3m, the shorter distance of the JLT would not be an inconvenience, according to McManus’ racing manager Frank Berry.

Asked if More Of That could run in the JLT, Berry said: "There's every chance as he's not short of pace. He's in both, it won't be decided until near the time. It's up in the air and we will see what is running in which race."

More Of That, trained by Jonjo O'Neill, has not run since taking his unbeaten record at Cheltenham to four when winning a 2m5f novice chase on December 12.

He is a best-priced 4-1 with bet365 and Coral for the RSA Chase and following the revelation, his odds for the JLT collapsed with both firms cutting him into 5-1 (from 10).

maybe the bookies trying to offset some liabilities, according to Jonjo he's RSA bound, and he has gone as far as to say he thinks he is the one to beat, Gordon Elliot appears to agree

Hopefully he's RSA bound.

Speaking of Jonjo horses I'm liking my 25-1 on Johns Spirit :)

I've had a bit of money on Aloomomo to win any race at the festival (14's with William Hill). It's now started to be backed for the CHAPS Novices on the opening day. Anyone got any thoughts on this? Could be a very interesting one to watch regardless of where it runs!
