Guy on atr today explaining what the reasoning may be for Vautour running in the Gold cup saying Ricci has won everything else then mentioned the champ hurdle, so I tried to remember any other championship races he's won and came up blank. As far as I can remember the only other fez races he's won to date are novice ones, so it would be perfectly valid to run Vautour elsewhere, plus stick to the mares for AP, world, or Ryanair, with VVM, all have more valid CV arguments than what he appears to be looking at

Hi LR, no he meant Ricci, and, as OV has listed, they are all novice events, as I thought, apart from the Champion hurdle, so 1 of 4 championship races, and no major non- novice events, so plenty to go at.

Never heard of a Block before :highly_amused: good luck Bobs

Sgt Reckless county 33/1

I was probably being a bit biased in the CH thread MMG regarding SM.

No probs LR, pays about half a mill for peanuts, I like to throw a few loony bets in at the fez, not really much of a multi bettor other than the big meetings, it's just a lot of fun picking this stuff, I'm like you and FM, already down a wedge courtesy of Faugheen

Not that those odds will retire us, let alone a couple of weeks off work.

Why can't they just give us one under the radar.

My 5 yr old daughter could have given us that lucky 15. Ricci should be embarrassed putting that up as a bet at a preview night.

And all those have a place chance which would pay plenty more.

This is why you have to try and second guess them these days. Its a business where they must work together to make sure they profit.

There should be a market for another WM high profile non runner.
