Cheltenham Wednesday Thread

LR have you considered Starchitect in the Fred Winter ? I have taken a bit of 25/1 NRNB with Betfair sportsbook. Might be too much of an outsider for our purposes ?

Zarib is another that caught my eye. Trainer having a great season and right stats profile.

Lester, I quite like the look of Starchitect. Do you think he would be able to replicate his form in a larger field around Chelts?

My own Yankee will be

Sprinter
Outlander
Arabian Revolution
Moon Racer

Outlander a bit overlooked on the Neptune thread but now Bryan Coopers ride in the race. Given the Giggy strength at this distance and in spite of a number of wrong picks by young Bryan that will do me. I think the others well covered in the threads. Lester I think put up AR based on giving weight to Beltor. Moon racer well hyped but still a double figure price.i don't need to say anything about the other one,

MG - is that AR for the Fred Winter?

I like Moon Racer. If more support comes for him I would be willing to include him for Day 2 Yankee.

I agree Moon Racer could be a good way to go, but like Arabian Revolution as well

I do like AR and will be considering him in the selection. My only negative with him is does he fall into another one of JF's flat horse backgrounds?

I know what you mean LR but sooner rather than later a Bloomfields runner has got to light up the national hunt seen. There's arguably enough talent and money behind some of them :D

Not sure if stat still holding up but top rated on flat won something like 4 out of first 5 renewals. That would be Fergusons other runner or Elliotts horse that got stuffed by Barry Connells horse last week.

Was that the race where Vercingetorix looks destined for a career on Scarborough sands, carrying kids along the shore whilst they eat their candyfloss

I know I have the boring day but any more suggestions for Day 2 anyone?

I would agree with those who are siding with Windsor Park in the Neptune, but my two strogest fancies for this day are Kings Palace, and SDG

So far I don't have much choice, so right now my selections are...

Kings Palace - RSA @9/2
Ordo Ab Chao - Neptune @12/1
Arabian Revolution - Fred Winter @16/1
Moon Racer - Bumper @10/1

with 365 NRNB BOG

I am hoping to have more suggestions i by Sunday.

Prices aren't great but those are mine for the day so far. Of your 4 above I like Moon Racer.

Nice one KK.

Activial is one I would consider. Do you know why he by passed the Fest last year?

Activial was all over Kitten Rock the last day until falling, is his jumping suspect apart from that? Not an ideal prep.

Aux Ptit Sions - Coral Cup, yet to run in England but strong vibes coming from Nicholls yard, reminds of Katgary plot last year
Starchitect - Fred Winter, two wins in first two runs and then chased home the first two in the betting for Triumph in next two runs, not bad form line, one that could surprise
Champagne Fever - QM, with all the uncertainty of SS and SDG etc, worth a punt, festival form speaks for its self
PylonthePressure- Bumper, not sure how the form works out with some of these bumpers but Mullins has to be respected, this one has had a few whispers so threw it in as a lively chance

Thanks Paz. Your top 2 are interesting.:encouragement:

Probably:sleeping:
That was Abbyssial wasn't it, ignore last nights post

Thats correct MMG.

Does anyone have any more info on Aux Ptit Sions?
I know he may be this dark horse but I am not sure about coming to the Fest after a year off and encountering a track like this for the first time. Do I swerve or do I not? Someone tell me different please.
