SO true.
I appreciate the irony in my post here but WOW.

I am presuming most people actually want to see the ground dry out as long range bets will have been placed on the basis of good to soft ground at worst?
14mm of rain recorded at Gloucester weather station. The one on Cleeve Hill hasn't updated for 3 hours, maybe it has flooded![]()
Same amount on the course per their Twitter feed:
The ground is now SOFT, HEAVY IN PLACES. #TheFestival
Its coming, heavy tomorrow, or soft to heavy.
It seems that I may have called it right and it does rain in sunny England.
Suggest u guys use www.rain-today.com, gives u live rain over the country......
I think what amazed me was the turftrax map shows a lot of soft yellow with a little bit of green and yesterday 90% of the track was green within two days, if its warm like they said it would be over the weekend and only light rain I still would predict g/s soft in places..
Perfect ground for a lot of horses..
I haven't been to a festival when it's raining but I imagine it is as absolute nightmare.
We can now only pray for minimal rain today/tonight
