Cheltenham Handicap Shortlists

Pretty sure he'll be unhappy with most of those marks.
Aside from Gun digger and Ben dundee, and the close brothers may be the only real option for those two.
Blow by Blow looks four miler bound to me. won't take much persuading with O'leary's considering the 5lb higher rating.

4Miler looks nailed on to me Q. And not without a chance.

Very hard to look past Blow by Blow given trend on Elliot festival form and previous festival form trends.

Have one point on for the 4 miler, and tempted to add more with the weights

Looks like the 'green light' has been given for The Storyteller to go for the Coral Cup.

PP & Betfair both cut him today, 20's into 12's.

:) that's a positive for the target.

Just had to actually turn up and win now! :highly_amused:

Iv added him. Split stakes between any race 18/1 And coral cup 22/1 due to now being restricted with lads

Excellent, I feared the Coral Cup ship had sailed.

He has no future hurdles entries, but the obvious tell tale sign for me would be the PP/Betfair cut, whether he does go for it is another thing altogether.

It was enough for me to have a nibble though.

Haven't followed this thread too much, but hoping Dortmund Park shows a little more today with softer ground. Has shown zero so far but if he shows a bit today, off 147 he could be interesting in a CC

Just noticed he's a NR which is a shame. Half wondered whether we might see him rock up in the Pertemps qualifier at Punchestown. He's yet to really show himself as a 3 miler but I'm sure he will be in the fullness of time. I'm also a little concerned that the 147 becomes 150+ when converted to a British mark and that would dampen enthusiasm. He's one to keep an eye on though because they must have thought he still had something to offer over hurdles.

Band Of Outlaws has a nice mark for the Fred Winter. Won with plenty in hand.
