Cheltenham Handicap Shortlists

Malaya was an eye catcher in that Ascot race. Travelled like a dream, flew her hurdles and wasn't asked for much of an effort. Could be one for Aintree, rather than Cheltenham though.

She Deffinately was. She wasn't asked a huge ammount.
But that is her. She finds nothing off the bridle.

One day it will click though.

An Aintree handicap would look perfect for her. She'll be a big old price wherever she runs.

Worth watching the 2:20 at Navan today. Cracking Smart is being lined up for a handicap IMO - potentially the Coral Cup

Travelled well, hit a bit of traffic in the run in and lost to a Grand National horse. I'd say that will put him spot on :devilish:

Wouldn't you be a bit worried getting beat by a National winner on the bridle??

I doubt we see the best of Cracking Smart until he gets soft ground..on RPRs not far off a career best today!

There was no entry for Danny Kirwan today so I think that means he won't be turning up in a festival handicap. I had him in mind for the Martin Pipe.

Could he not run in imperial cup ?
Do they still do that bonus thing ?
Don't think he's good enough personally but if they do ?

CS got absolutely whalloped by that daft horse jumping out to the right, was on the back foot, made good ground up but Jack was easy enough in the finish. RPR was very good even for coming third, believe the Irish mark has stayed put. I’d say they will wait to see what the English handicapper does before they commit to Stayers or Coral. Has a great chance off 150ish IMO

He has only ran twice over hurdles so doesn't have a handicap mark. Wouldn't be able to run in the Imperial cup without one either.

I know cheltenham handicaps you need three.
Assume same for imperial cup based on what you're saying.
Is it certain grades of handicaps that have this rule, or is it simply per the individual qualifying rules for each race ?
obviously too late for cheltenham weights anyway

Glen Rocco
"He'll be entered in the Kim Muir and Ultima as well tomorrow," he said. "We're going to have as many options as we can. Whatever happens on Saturday, provided he comes out of it well, we'll go to Cheltenham and Aintree."

Who said this about Rocco boopa horse I like a lot

Are all handicap entries out today? Any idea what time? I've the finger over Glenloe and The Storyteller for cash out

If Glenloe doesn't get an entry at the weekend, I'll be cashing out
