Cheltenham Bumper 2019

I know he's a hype job and that, so will be interesting to see, but wouldn't be surprised to see him being a little bit of a letdown. Travelling head girl's horse bolts up and goes for mega money....probably ready to win that day to get her a big pot.....
 
...backed Shadow Rider for this at fancy prices, but it’s another that is leaving it very late to run. Saying that, other than PP most of the main bookies are not taking too much risk.

Surely the Bumper winner will at least have had an entry by now.

I am always wary of backing a jp horse in this
I know he has had a few horses place in it
But I think if they feel they have a really good prospect they try to avoid this race
Feeling is this race is too hard on a young horse and will damage it’s long term career

I don't bet on the exchange or understand it 100% tbh but he was like 31 earlier and is now 4.1, maybe someone who has a better grasp of it can shed some light

Basically everything that was available to be backed was taken, the shortest and last price being at 20/1....fingers crossed
 
....just had a quick look at last 6 Champion Bumper Winners, and from what I can see the latest seasonal debut for any was 13th January from Relegate.

It’ll need to buck a trend if this years winner hasn’t been out yet.

Only 3 entries so far for both bumpers at DRF

I assume they will come late but that’s surprising to me atleast

And I’ve given up on Energumene, as you said Kev, another Stay Humble only I haven’t got cash out this time


Edit: up to 9 and 7, looks like Giggi will have quite a few on the Saturday

Mullins got Rebel Og and BOTANI entered in mares bumper sunday.
Could do with a price before sunday on Botani.

To be honest bobby with most of the Mullins contenders in hiding and Elliott’s 2 best ones looking in the balance as to whether they turn up, I think everyone’s just lost the will to live with this race.

Or perhaps that’s just me!
