Cheltenham Bumper 2019

Crap race anyway. Put a line through it.

A good time to be buying the drinks.

Incidentally, £5.60 for a lager on NYD. Just a 12.5% increase on last year

Would Harry Fry not be tempted to send King Roland here - given the lack of real standout form

As soon as it rains they'll be a load of standout form. They're all in there box. Mullins has countless horses to fire at this.

Yeah well I hope some of them are nearer Malone Road than Mount Leinster. And considerably better than Ontheropes!

I am keeping my fingers crossed that Paul Nicholls sees this as a race that ASK FOR GLORY can provide a Festival Win for him. He is the only horse outside Cheveley Park colours, that I have been well and truly impressed by. 25/1 is a big price if he is targeted at the race.

Topped up a bit more on Larquebuse before she wins on Monday

Am I right in thinking Malone Road is back on track ?
Do the exchanges reflect this ?
Not that savvy with reading them.

Been a strange one with Malone Road, one minute he's 8's or 9's on there, then 13's, back down to just under 9's again now. Have heard no update myself though.

Be fantastic should he turn up though, he's a weapon.

I'd seen something from Gordon saying pretty much he wont be making Cheltenham and all but ruling him out.

However Gordon's a dubious one for a man that "dosent bet" but knows the odds of every horse antepost

Energumene is the one to look out for here, owned by Tony Bloom there is a significant chance he’ll turn up for this at the festival first time up - likely to be the subject of a punt as well if all is well

Now there is one we have all been waiting for

You can't run 1st time up under the race conditions.

My mistake! Wasn’t aware of this - would like to see this fellow with an entry given his reputation when he was with Lacey
