Cheltenham Bumper 2018

Interesting Quote from Mullins

Willie definitely rates Hollowgraphic as I saw him put it up as his "Handicap dark horse/Tip" for the festival. This was when asked by that racing blogger fella, immediately after racing at the dublin festival, and he'd just seen Blackbow win the best bumper of the season.
Strongest bumper I've seen for a few years I think. The Gifford horse looks useful also.

I've had a bit of the 25s on Gallahers Cross with Hills for this pre bumper entries coming out. Might not be entered but if not then money back as he won't be in another race at the festival. His 3l 4th to didtheyleavemeoutto is top form, and to my eye he was the only one able to go the same pace in the last furlong. If soft ground, and in the hands of henderson rather than gifford, he's one i want onside

He is entered and does run.

I like him also. But i haven't backed him.

One that might be worth a small e/w at a big price is Thebannerkingrebel of Jamie Snowden's. I know they think a lot of him and he's been impressive in his wins at Warwick and Bangor.

Can someone please post a link to this years entries. I understand 31 have entered with 9 from Ireland but I can't find a list. Many Thanks

Thanks Bay. Much appreciated. All the top 5 on course to run without there being a red hot favourite. Be interesting to see which one attracts the money over the next few days.

The rumour I’ve heard is that Mullins thinks Hollowgraphic is of a very high standard and will be tough to beat if he stays on track and makes the race as expected.

Running on the old course will help, I want a horse that's shown that turn of foot on the sharper track.

Hollographic was in my shortlist for a while, but after watching his runs he appears to be a chaser in the making and may not appreciate this sort of race

I'd say you must be a hard man to impress if you didn't think Hollowgraphic showed a turn of foot last time opatcho! Put the race to bed in a matter of strides off the final bend.

Denman wasn't small
