Cheltenham Bumper 2018

Anyone else find it interesting Gigginstown are allowing Gordy to run Felix Desjay here?

They've ran plenty before. It's still the best case to avoid them throughout the season as antepost.
Gordon has a nice crop of bumper horses there so he obviously would have a decent feel for the race. Like he said himself he wouldnt send him if he diddnt feel he had a good chance. And he will run.
So he deffinately has claims.

If like me you like the claims of didtheyleaveuoutto in the bumper, if like me you have an awful record in the race, and if like me you’re paranoid that you could anything beat in this race, then I think I’ve found one at decent odds that might be worth covering.

The Big Bite, trained by Tom George, is a huge horse who has impressed and won both starts despite being noticeably green. As soon as he got racing in both races he put them to bed with a minimum of fuss. At Lingfield the horse in 3rd was Arthington, who has since gone down only a length to Countister. At Huntingdon he beat a horse called Shaughnessy a couple of lengths giving him a few pounds. The Flying Sofa beat that same horse off levels the same distance, and Didtheyleaveuoutto beat the Flying Sofa at Ascot by a couple of lengths more. On collateral form he’s close, and he’s a huge horse who’s run green so has plenty of scope for improvement. Have added at 25s

Like a few other Pipe horses there appears to have been a few nibbles for Know The Score. Cost a fortune but looked a slow boat at Towcester. On that looks more a 50/1 chance than 20/1? Be very disappointed if Seddon couldn't at least see him off.

This is frustrating. Elegant Escape @ 50/1 and now Hollowgraphic @ 33/1 gone in 2 days!

No Gallahers Cross as well, double blow. Praying for no worse than good to soft now on the Wednesday and watch Didtheyleaveuoutto bring it home

No idea if true as yet but heard Hollowgraphic has had a setback. I wouldn’t panic yet as it needs confirming but thought I’d best bring it up or I’d feel bad for not if it’s true.

So it was correct after all.

Trying to remember if my bet365 slips were NRNB, 36/1 with hills down the drain though

I'm not sure people on here need a 'told you so' post.

But yes well done, you were indeed correct with your information.

I got slated by some so maybe it did. I hope anyone on has cashouts etc tho. Don’t want to see any of us lose money.

Fair enough...

Out of interest, do you have a connection in the Mullins yard? Just curious.

Not sure it’s nice to boast that your info was correct.

Those of us on at double figure prices wouldn’t have had that NRNB.

After ITCF and Crackig Smart, it’s another blow to me antepost.

It wasn’t nice to receive the rubbish I got for posting it either mate.

I know a couple of people yes. One has a horse there, other has a connection in the yard

I was told weeks ago VVM was struggling but thought I better not post due to the reaction of this. I’ve been told other things also but I’m wary now sorry. I’m happy to discuss offline or over a pint down at the festival.
